There are only two courses offered by the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, which are as follows:Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Media, andPostgraduate Diploma in Journalism (English language)The duration of both of these courses is 1 year, divided into 2 semesters. The number of seats in both of these courses has increased from 20 to 30 from the academic session 2024–25. Also, students have high regard for both of them. But I won't be able to tell you which course is best for you, as it totally depends on your personal interests and what you wanna do in your life. But whichever you choose, you'll have to work hard in it. You can also talk to several alumni or check out their website for more related details. Also, the fee structure is pretty good and anybody can afford it so, that's also not an issue.ALL THE BEST

Yes, the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Jammu branch, is considered a good institution for pursuing PG Diploma courses, but if I have to say which is the best one, I'll definitely go with the IIMC Delhi, as the highest placement was from the Delhi branch with a salary package of a stunning 20 LPA. But since you're specifically asking about the Jammu branch, I'll say that it holds a decent reputation too, although its not better from the Delhi one so if you can manage living in Delhi, then I'll suggest you to go for that only and not the Jammu one.

According to me, pursuing Diploma at IIMC Aizawl is a pretty good choice as it is a well-reputed institute for mass communication and the curriculum is also really good. If you'll compare it with other colleges which offer this course like Amity, DU, etc. it's a much better choice in less money as Amity will take somewhat around 1.5–2 LPA and some colleges in DU will take around 50K per year. So in my opinion pursuing it at IIMC is a very reasonable option both due to its less fee structure and its reputable standing than many colleges and also it offers a good deal of placements so yes it's a good choice and you should go with it.CHEERS

There are several scholarship programmes offered by the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Dhenkanal. I've listed some of them and their eligibility criteria below:Rati Aggarwal Scholarship: It's awarded to a female student of the Hindi Journalism course on the basis of her performance in the Entrance Exam. Star TV Scholarship: This is awarded to a student of Radio & TV journalism on the basis of their performance in the Entrance Exam.Freeship Scholarship: This is given to students whose family income is below 8LPA and are from the EWS.IIMCAA Scholarship: This is given by the institute to a random student.Merit-based Scholarship: The student who tops gets this scholarship of INR 10K.Since the availability and criteria can change from year to year so it will be wiser to check the official website too.Hope that helps :)

A couple of postgraduate Diploma programmes are available at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) Aizawl: a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism (English) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Media. These courses aim to give students thorough training in digital media and journalism, giving them both theoretical and practical abilities. Reputable media outlets including ABP News, Times of India, Hindustan Times, Zee Media, Economic Times, and ANI have participated in the recruitment process, demonstrating IIMC's good placement record. The largest pay package available at IIMC Delhi is INR 20 LPA; however, I'm not very knowledgeable with IIMC Aizawl, so particular figures may differ slightly, perhaps between 5-8 LPA. Hope this helps clear your doubts.CHEERS

Yes, the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Kottayam branch is a good institution for students who wish to pursue a Post Graduate Diploma. This institute offers two PG Diploma courses which are as follows:Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism (English)Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism (Malayalam)These courses are practical and output-oriented. But since I earlier said that if you can manage to get the Delhi one then all the other IIMCs are pale as compared to that one. So, if you'll ask me i'll once again recommend you to the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Delhi.

The parent accommodation facility is necessary as the institute is visited by oustation students. These outstation students are accompanied by their parents. However, there is no such information on the official website of the college. The dedicated parent accommodation facility on the campus of IIMC Delhi however can change a great deal of things for the students.
