The Indian Institute of Public Health in Shillong provides support to students in their placements through its placement cell. The placement cell offers information on available opportunities, conducts workshops, and helps students prepare for interviews. But, at some cost there is no any guarantee that students would surely gets placed but eventually 80% does gets placed . According to course wise usually all the courses would get equal opportunity and rest is left to students.

As its having a placement cell along it would be great for students to get placed easily in very reputed organisations .
