Bookish Knowledge imparted to students.IMRB Kantar, ICICI Bank are the main recruiters. (Finance People= ICICI), Marketing= IMRB KANTARPS: Those who get into ICICI Bank leave their jobs within 6 months, hope you will understand.Some used to claim that the faculty members are knowledgeable and all, YES they are knowledgeable but they aren't fit for MBA.Reason: They have bookish knowledge, they don’t provide industry knowledge.Placement: CTC is not the in hand salary (CTC/15) Roughly in handFresher Average: 5 to 5.5 LPAthe lowest: 3.75 (Tata Capital)the highest: 12L (Amazon) If you have 2 years of Work Experience then only you can seat for the drive of Amazon. (HR Role)PSU like UBI, BOI gives unpaid InternshipsIMRB KANTAR 10,000/ month.Kolkata region has very few corporate houses, that's why very few companies come for placements.Important Note: MBA aspirants who are planning for Finance & HR specialisation PLEASE AVOID IISWBM.HR: XISS, Ranchi.Finance: MDI Murshidabad.Placements in IISWBM is 100% for most of the courses except for MBA ( evening ) course though it is a full time course but the college does not provide placement for the perticular course.Regarding this matter college is genuine about their records they do not mislead students or make any fake promises.The biggest question is about the CTC offered while placements, whether it is fulfilling your ROI ( return on investment ).
