I am satisfied with the faculty and our college provides good placements.
Placements: Our college provides good placements. The highest salary package offered is 1.2 CPA. The average salary package offered is 21.6 LPA. Placements are different in every branch like our course is IDD which stands for an integrated dual degree.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college building is old but it is good. Some of the new hostels like Dhanragkgiri are the best hostels compared to any other IIT. Our college has many grounds. The market is available near our college.
Faculty: Our faculty members are top-notch. The course curriculum is not difficult. There are two exams in a semester, the mid-semester and the end-semester. The end semester has a major percentage in our cumulative performance index. In other colleges, it is called CGPA.
Other: Our college has many things such as the Vishwanath Temple, Limbdi Corner, and many more. I opted for this course because I want to become a gene analyst in the future.

Placements: Almost 80% of students get placements in IT companies from here. The average salary package offered is 14 LPA. Top companies, including Google, Microsoft, Flipkart and Amazon visit here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good here, and hostels are decent with double sharing rooms. The food served in the mess is also hygienic, with different varieties of food items. Water, electricity and Wi-Fi facilities for the internet are available. Lab facilities are also good, and all the lab equipment is available.
Faculty: Teachers here are good and knowledgeable. They are also friendly in nature. Exam levels are moderate.

Placements are good, and the faculty, infrastructure and facilities are average.
Placements: The placements are really good with the average package varying from branch to branch. The highest packages offered in the last 3 years were 2 crores, 1.5 crores and 2.5 crores (approximately) respectively. Almost everyone gets placed in a good company. If you are research-oriented, you can aim for higher studies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is pretty good and is going to be better in a few years. There are quick bite centres at every junction. Hostels are pretty good except the old ones. Lecture theatres are pretty good. The campus is spread over 1500 acres (approximately).
Faculty: The faculty are pretty good. If you are knowledgeable enough to crack JEE and you know the right book to study, you can clear the term exams a bit easier. However, to clear your term exams, it is mandatory to maintain your attendance percentage. The faculty members will help you in providing study material, etc. and even they are ready to help the students at any time.

I am completely satisfied with my college life. It was a platform to experience various endeavors.
Placements: The placement scenario was good for the year 2018. About 70 students out of 85 got placed in our department. The placement numbers for our senior batch were not good. It was only around 35. The highest salary is offered 32 LPA, and the lowest offered is 6 LPA. The average annual package is 9.5 LPA. Mostly, the companies were related to non-engineering profile. The major companies were Oracle, EXL, Futures First, Ola, Oyo, Reliance, etc. Only 15 students bag internship from the campus in our branch. The highest stipend offered is 2.4 lacs per annum offered by HUL. We have a placement cell in our campus. That is very efficient and useful, but they are not good at reaching new companies.
Infrastructure: IIT BHU, Varanasi shares the campus with BHU. The campus is green and clean. The infrastructure is not as good as people think of being it an IIT. But there is a fast improvement in the infrastructure development. For now, there is very good Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the campus. The classrooms, medical facilities, and sports facilities are up to the mark. The mess food and canteen facilities are decent.
Faculty: The teachers here in IIT BHU are a mixture of experienced as well as inexperienced teachers. Some of them have expert knowledge in their field, but some of them are not very good in presentation and interaction with the students. In a nutshell, they are good and supportive. There is an industrial visit every year for the students in a prefinal year. The course curriculum is good mainly focusing on the engineering only.
Other: Every department has their annual fest. Apart from this, three major fests are Spardha ( sports fest), Kashiyatra (cultural fest) and Technex (techno-management fest). The campus is open and green. The students have been posed no restrictions regarding timing from the administration second year onwards.

Overall, I satisfied with the college.
Placements: In my batch of 115 students, approximately 50 students got the campus placement. 35 students got the off-campus placements. The salary ranges in between Rs. 3,50,000 per annum to Rs. 11,00,000 per annum in case of my branch. The companies visited are Wipro, Reliance, Hindalco, BPCL, HUL, Future First, Capgemini, Cristol, Flour Daniel, KBR, DRDO etc. The role offered to the students are engineering, managerial jobs, analysts etc. 25% of the students got the internship through the college, and the rest made the self-arrangement. The stipend ranges from 0 to Rs. 1,00,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The campus is full of greenery. All the modern facilities are available. Since, the institute is within the boundary of Banaras Hindu University, so the medial facility of Sir Sundar Lal Hospital, (called AIIMS of eastern Uttar Pradesh) are available for free of cost. The campus has IIT gymkhana along with the university stadium and the other sports facilities. The labs and the classrooms are excellent. The food served in a mess is of excellent quality with the flexibility of choice. Some items are served as per the demand of student out of the regular menu. The hostel rooms are old, and the new hostel is good. There is no issue regarding the infrastructural.
Faculty: The faculty members are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The traditional classroom teaching methodology is used with the modern facilities like a projector, etc. In the 3rd year, we got industrial exposure of IFFCO phoolpur, Allahabad. The course curriculum is useful.
