Pursuing a BTech programme at IIT BHU is highly worthwhile due to its impressive placement track record. With the 2022 placement figures revealing a the highest package of INR 40.18 LPA and an average of INR 21.89 LPA, along with a substantial increment of 68.71% and 303 visiting companies, the institution offers excellent career prospects. Moreover, in 2023, a the highest package of INR 1.2 crore per annum and an average of INR 23.13 LPA. Its consistently high NIRF ranking, with a rank of 15 in 2023. The fee for the programme ranges between INR 3.2 Lacs - INR 8.5 lakh. Considering the fee and the total package secured this seems to be agood return on the investment.

The courses offered by the university are B.Sc, BA, B.E, M.Sc, B.Tech, M.Techetc. BHU gives admission on the basis of entrance exam. BHU accepts the score of CUET UG and CUET PG for admission purpose and for B.Tech BHU accepts the score of JEE Mains and for M.Tech GATE scores are accepted and the candidate must have competed their bachelor's degree with minimum of 50% aggregate. The steps for applying for M.Tech in BHU are as follows:Give the prospective exam.Check the result of the exam.Apply for the counselling and pay the counselling fees.Check the merit list released by the college.Apply for admission.Pay the fees of the course to secure the seat.

So even for B.Tech courses, it is expected to provide top-notch education to the students.Placements: Our college assures 100% placements, with all students securing positions in top companies. About 5% of students pursue higher studies. In our college, almost 90% of students are placed. The salary package offered is 27 LPA to 30 LPA and the average salary package offered is 14 LPA to 24 LPA.IIT BHU was founded in 1919 as Banaras Engineering College by Madan Mohan Malviya. The IIT Varanasi MSc cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1, wherein the M.Sc. in Physics is the most competitive specialisation with a closing rank of 345 for the General AII India category students. The least competitive course isM.Sc. in Chemistry with a cutoff rank of 363. So, candidates seeking admission to any of the MSc courses must secure a rank up to 363 to be eligible for IIT Varanasi. IIT Varanasi admission to the MSc course is based on IIT JAM scores, followed by the IIT JAM counselling process. Only candidates on the JAM 2024 merit list based on JAM 2024 scorecard will be eligible to apply for admission.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT), an all-India exam, to applicants for admission to Master's degrees in pharmacy. M.Pharm admissions at IIT BHU are determined by the results of the GPAT and a personal interview. The IIT BHU M.Pharm programme requires a B.Pharm or comparable degree in pharmacy with at least 60% of the possible points or a 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale. Candidates from SC/ST categories must have a CGPA of 5.5 or 55% on their graduation degree. Candidates must also be eligible to take the GPAT exam and have a valid result.
