The facilities and package are good.
Placements: 60% of students are placed in this college. The average package is 4 LPA and this college not good for placement, but the education system is strong. TCS came to the campus last year and provided students with a good package. Internships were also provided by the college.
Infrastructure: Facilities are available for all courses. Classes are good, Wi-Fi is available in this college with smart classrooms. College hostels are average. Mess, canteen are available in this college. Sports are also available.
Faculty: College teachers are very good and all teachers are qualified from GATE. If we face any technical problems, teachers help us and solve the issue easily. Semesters are easy to pass with good marks. Even an average student can crack the exam easily and get a good CGPA.
Other: Campus needs improvements

The college is good, but some improvement will make it better.
Placements: Almost 50% of students got placed at my college. The highest package offered was 8 LPA, the lowest package offered was 3 LPA, and the average package offered was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Cognizant, etc. Almost each and every student has done an internship with some company. The top role offered is that of a graduate engineer trainee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. Each and every department has its own separate block. The college has a good library with sufficient books. For teaching, smart classrooms are available, and the furniture is in very good condition. The hostel facility is very bad, and the mess condition is very bad. Sports and games are organized every year at the college.
Faculty: Yes, teachers in my branch are well qualified and have a good knowledge of academics. They have studied at good institutes, and their way of teaching is very good. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant, and every year, as per the curriculum, an internship is necessary, which makes students ready for industry. Semester exams are not so difficult, and if one studies regularly, it's very easy to clear a semester exam. Almost 70–80 percent of students pass exams.
Other: Recently, in India, an electronic company has been set up because of which job opportunities are more in this sector, and I also have an interest in the electronic field. Only if labs get improved, then everything in my electronics branch will get improved.

About the life and placement at IGEC Sagar.
Placements: In the batch of 2023, about 80 percent of students were placed, with an average package around LPA. Top recruiting companies included TCS and Infosys. To secure an internship, you need to strengthen your basics, but overall, there are good opportunities in this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in this college is not up to the mark. However, you get good equipment, though the main focus is on theory rather than practicals. The mess and hostel are good and affordable, with many canteens available. There are also plenty of sports facilities, like a large cricket ground and badminton court.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, with good quality instruction. Since this college offers a BE course, the focus is mainly on theory over practical applications. Semester exams are reasonable, and if you study, you can pass them without difficulty.
Other: I chose this college because it’s government-affiliated, and with my JEE percentile, I didn’t qualify for a better one. It’s affordable and good, with a lush green campus, plus scholarships are available.

The college and its environment is good.
Placements: About 70-80 percent students were placed last year from my department. The highest package offered in my course was 8v LPA average package was 5-6LPA and the lowest package offered was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies were not from core branch but from IT sector like TCS, Infosys, wipro etc. Almost all students have done internship from various private and government sectors.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my college and department is good. Wi-Fi is available in every department of my college also smart board is available in many classes. My college has very good library. Hostel Infrastructure is very bad also tha Mess facility is not so good. Quality of food in Mess is not so good.
Faculty: The professors of my department are well qualified from very good college. They have very good teaching quality and experience. They have cleared our even doubt. Yes, the curriculum is according to the need of the industry. Semester exams are not very tough if one studies regularly.
Other: I have great interest in electronic and communication field that's why I choose this. The improvement is only needed in labs of electronics department.

Indira Gandhi engineering college my opinion
Placements: Some companies visit our college for placement regarding to the IT sector or sales companies.. Their package is something around 2-3 lac per annum. If you have the skills then the student of the electronics branch have the opportunity to attend the placement of IT sector.
Infrastructure: Overall environment of this college is good. There are some fests that will organized as per required. Extracurricular activities like games cricket and extra competition like singing, dancing was also organized as per district and college level. Only some advice that is that college should take care of proper infrastructure, should be made according to now.
Faculty: College has better faculty and a lot of faculty is appointed but we can see only few of them. Faculty was friendly and make you feel comfortable. But the EC department's HOD is so strict. Huge campus, park parking etc are available. Because of the Government college some time it affect our faculty due to the election or any other government work.
Other: From joint entrance examination or you can also apply on the basis of the 12th percentage or CGPA. But try to take admission on the basis of JEE examination even if you have scored 1 percentile. They give you the first priority if you apply by JEE.
