The eligibility criteria for admission to IP College vary depending on the course and level of study. For undergraduate courses, candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. For postgraduate courses, candidates must have completed their undergraduate degree from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

The admission process for foreign students is based on both the previous academic merit of the students and the entrance exam scores. The exams accepted by the college are CUET for UG admissions and CUET PG for PG admissions. The annual fee payable by foreign students for any course is Rs. 18,000/-. However, foreign students are required to pay additional fees in addition to the course and other fees.

While this DU-affiliated college accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, such as , admission to all the postgraduate courses is subject to the CUET- PG exam starting admission 2024. Indraprastha College for Women along with DU is accepting CUET UG and the CUET PG for academic year 2024-25. Before this, admission to undergraduate was based on merit in Class 12 and PG admission was mostly subject to DUET exam previously conducted by DU.

The institute along with DU started accepting CUET UG starting 2022 and the CUET PG from 2023 session onward. Before this, admission to UG was based on merit in Class 12 and PG admission was mostly subject to DUET exam previously conducted by DU. No, there is no offline method of application at Indraprastha College for Women. All the candidates must apply through the centralised entrance exam's official website, i.e., the official websites of CUET UG and CUET PG exam. After the COVID years and after the introduction of CUET UG and CUET PG for admission to Indraprastha College for Women and other DU-affiliated colleges, the application process has shifted full-time to the online mode. Candidates can register on the official websites of the respective exam, fill out the online application forms, pay the course-wise application fee and appear for the exam to become eligible. For final admission, shortlisted and pass-out students of CUET UG and CUET PG are required to register on the CSAS portal for final admission and seat allocation process.

In 2022, Indraprastha College for Women (like all DU affiliated colleges) adopted CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses. Indraprastha College for Women admission 2024 for UG courses (as per DU) will be through Common Seat Allocation System of the University of Delhi. But, at first, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.Step 2: Submit Indraprastha College for Women + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard. Here student must select their preferred course and college as the option. Step 3: The University released the dates for three DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists respectively for all categories. Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the Indraprastha College for Women will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification. Step 5: Once Indraprastha College for Women accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat.

The applications for Indraprastha College for Women that run simultaneously with DU registrations for undergraduate courses via CUET 2023 (for UG programmes) began on Feb 10, 2023, and were open till Mar 30. Additionally, for admission to postgraduate courses, CUET-PG registrations for the 2023 session started on Mar 20 and were open till May 5. Interested students were able to apply online on the official website of CUET UG and CUET PG.The CUET UG exam was scheduled to take place between held from May 21 to Jun 8, 2023, and the results were announced in June. Delhi University (affiliated university for Indraprastha College for Women has also released the dates for the first, second and third DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists which is Aug 1, Aug 10 and Aug 22, 2023, respectively.
