Absolutely good for students. It is value for money.
Placements: 90 percent of the students in my course were placed after graduation. The highest salary package offered was 12 lakhs. Aims and PGI Chandigarh are recruiting BDS students for PG. Students who scored 97 percentile got internships.
Infrastructure: The wifi is available 24 hours a day, and the labs are accessible to students at all times. The library is also available to students. The food is hygienic, and the staff in the mess hall are disciplined and provide good quality food for the students. The students also enjoy playing sports on the college grounds.
Faculty: The teachers at my institution are highly qualified doctors with MDS degrees in their respective courses. They are very knowledgeable and can handle any difficulty related to the curriculum or extracurricular activities. However, the semester exams are difficult and require a lot of hard work.
Other: I'm passionate about becoming a BDS doctor, especially in the head and neck region. That's why I chose MDS in oral and maxillofacial surgery. I think there should be more placements and recruitment opportunities for BDS students than for MBBS students.

I am absolutely satisfied because of faculty members, environment, etc.
Placements: There are many opportunities for jobs. Almost 100 students join here every year. The fee for one year was around 2.7 lacs during my tenure, but now it is above 4 lacs. So any student can complete a degree at this fee. Doing hard work and being consistent is the key to be a doctor.
Infrastructure: Our college has a green environment, and the classrooms are well cleaned and maintained. Every floor has fire extinguishers. Lab equipment and machines are well cleaned and maintained also. Every sport has different areas. The mess is well sanitised, and tasty food is also served here. The transport facility is also provided here.
Faculty: I am studying at Institute of Dental Sciences, Jammu. The quality of teaching provided here is excellent. There are well-trained teachers. I was very happy to study here, and I completed my degree in 2021. I am going to be a doctor soon.

You can join this college only if you are looking forward to studying in Jammu.
Placements: As per the dental council of India, after the completion of the final year, there is a mandatory one-year rotatory internship programme which is to undertake at any dental college in India. A useful thumb of rule is that there are no campus placements in Dental colleges in India, as in engineering, though you can apply externally in your preferred sector.
Infrastructure: Institute of Dental Sciences, Jammu is the pioneer of a private dental college in Jammu & Kashmir union territory. Our college is spread over a lush green area of more than 6.88 acres. Our college has an administrative block, library consisting of issue counter, property counter, reading room, audio-visual room, and dentistry textbooks. It lacks a photocopying facility. Lecture rooms have an overhead projector, whiteboard, microphone and facilities for the slide are spacious enough to accommodate more than 100 students. Laboratories are well-stocked with a decade of old equipment which is obsolete in this technologically advanced world. There are no open Wi-Fi networks which cover the campus. Our college also provides facilities like a locker room, boys and girls common room, meditation room, cafeteria, sports room, playground, boys and girls hostel, intern quarter and staff quarter.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are graduated from various colleges across the country. The course curriculum is as per the DCI. The standard books recommended by DCI are followed with zeal. Every department has junior lecturers, senior lecturers, readers and HOD, out of which only junior lecturers are bachelor degree holders.
