IEM is anyway better than Heritage, be it in terms of placement or in terms of quality of teaching. Also, people prefer IEM as it is the best private engineering college in West Bengal.

Hi, One think here to note is that, in WBJEE website which shows previous year or crores, the rank which are shown in TFW section of any stream are general ranks. All the counseling is done through general rank. So if according to your section

You can check the previous year Opening and Closing ranks and estimate your result.

Opening and closing rank varies from year to year. But I guess you will be eligible for IT with such a good rank. Give your preferences accordingly and hope for the best.

You cannot get admission in Heritage, IEM,Haldia but in BC Roy chances are very low for computer science. You have to wait till 3rd round.
