IHM Bangalore may be preferred over IHM Kolkatta. Rest will depend on once choice of region also. Since this question has came to me now, but posted b y you 2 years earlier, I hope you have got the right choice of college. All the best.

Your salary package depends on many things. The company that is selecting you via campus placement or any other way. Your skills, your job position etc. But you can expect a starting package in the range of 13K/month to 25K/month.

Yes hotel management is a good course if you have good communication skills and you have interest in this field you want to be a chef, bartender or want to open your own restaurant.
