The general eligibility criteria requires a candidate to score at least 45% in +2, which in your case is 65% then you are very much eligible for BCA. If you want to learn programming languages which you will be studying in your BCA course then you can check out this app which is specially designed and developed for BCA students. It has programs and assignments of languages like C, C+ and Java with their outputs. You'll be studying these languages in your 3 years of BCA.

You have not mentioned the course about which information is sought. However, IITM-Delhi offers BBA and BCA Undergraduate programs with intake capacity of 240 and 60 respectively. The eligibility criteria for both of programs are given below. Eligibility Criteria for BBA is to pass class 12th from CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject. Eligibility Criteria for BCA is to pass class 12th from CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with pass in English (core or elective or functional) and Mathematics or Computer Science/Informatics Practice/Computer Applications. Further, out of 90%, 85% of seats in both programs are reserved for Delhi candidates and 10% for outside Delhi. The 10% seats are for Management quota. One year gap after class 12th is not a big issue, however college may asked for filling a form for explaining the reason. So you may write there exams preparation etc. as the reason.

What are my chances? I did M.Sc physics from IIT, Delhi and did Diploma in mechanical engineering, not HSC.

Hello Niranjan,
IITs accept Diploma as equivalent to 12th. Hence, firstly you need to score at least 75% in Diploma and then clear JEE Mains and JEE Advanced with good rank to get into IIT-Delhi.
