The difference between Lala Lajpat Rai Institute of Management and Lexicon Management Institute of Leadership and Excellence is as below:
Number of courses:
Lexicon Management Institute of Leadership and Excellence - 15 courses across 2 streams
Lala Lajpat Rai Institute of Management - 1 course across 1 stream
Placements:
Lexicon Management Institute of Leadership and Excellence - Invites top MNCs for placements and has a tie-up with well-established corporates. This was evident from the fact that many students were offered internships for 4-6 weeks during the course. They were provided flexible lecture timings as well as session recordings. Lala Lajpat Rai Institute of Management - Some good companies like HDFC and Aditya Birla visit our campus for recruitment. Similarly, there is a counselor who helps students to get various internships and give career advice. Infrastructure:
Lexicon Management Institute of Leadership and Excellence - Has very good on-site facilities such as learning labs, good internet connectivity, a very well organised library, an in-house canteen and a startup project which is launched by Lexicon's students. There is a playground for outdoor activities. The best thing is the R&D lab which undertakes various activities and projects, and the student body is a part of it. Lala Lajpat Rai Institute of Management - The college is 7 floors building with everything in place from having a good library to good computer labs and air-conditioned classrooms. There's a canteen which serves good quality food as well. No hostel facility is provided by the college like other commerce colleges in Mumbai University. Faculty:
Lexicon Management Institute of Leadership and Excellence - The faculty members here are highly experienced and provide a great industry experience. Routine webinars with industry experts are conducted where students get one-to-one interactions with leaders. Our college also conducts industrial visits, which are restricted this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The faculty members are well aware of the nuances of online teaching and have perfected the hybrid teaching/learning model. Lala Lajpat Rai Institute of Management - They are knowledgeable and have answers to all our doubts. The curriculum does need some addition for it to make us industry-ready. Maybe a little more interaction with the corporate world and some additional training would help to make the course even better.

Hi,
PIBM is good for MBA/PGDM. Also, its training DNA includes a lot of corporate interaction sessions where industry experts around the globe visit the campus and interact with the students.

I did MBA from LPU, my experience at LPU has been phenomenal. Few Points which will help you take decision:-Campus:- Lovely Professional University is an impeccable university. LPU is not only the university with the largest campus in North India but also the university with the most diverse student population. Students from all across the world live in the hostel, which comes the closest to being 'a home away from home'. The mixture of races and religions helps to build a decent environment. Education : The quality of education is good so far. If you are an average student and worried about the standard of education in the university then you can cross that off from your list, as the education here is delivered properly, interactively and conveniently. Placements-LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. There is a huge opportunity to get placed in a good MNC through Lovely Professional University. Many companies visit here for placement drive, and it is awarded for the most number of placements in a year. Around 550+ companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Dell, Dainkin, HCL, Bosch, Samsung are visiting campus for recruitment. Faculty:- The faculty members are very knowledgeable in their respective fields. They are always ready to help the students. During the exams, professors arrange special classes for the students to help them revise better and clear their doubts. Hostel:The first thing that almost parents are concerned about is the safety. And LPU is one campus that takes security of all their students very seriously. There are automated biometric machines that keep a record of each entry and exit in the hostel. Thanks!
