The MBA admission process at Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research (TIMSR) is based on merit and entrance exams. The eligibility criteria for admission to the TIMSR MBA programme is a minimum of 50% aggregate marks for graduation from a recognised university. The selection process includes Written Aptitude Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The weight given to each part of the selection process may vary from year to year. The admission is based on merit and CAT, MAH MBA CET and GMAT are accepted for the entrance exams. The MAT percentage required for TIMSR admission is not specified on the official website. However, a combined grade of at least 50% upon graduation is required for admission.

IBS Mumbai and AIMSR both are equally brand colleges and comes under top 10 b schools of Mumbai.I would prefer AIMSR as the fees is comparatively low and affiliation with Mumbai University.Also they offer MMS programme which has more scope .
