Hi Manoj,
Most probably, new dates would be announced soon as a number of candidates were not able to apply due to the grim situation of the country in this pandemic.
Just keep checking its website and maybe within a few days another date will be announced.
Also, be prepared with a plan B so that you do not have to waste a year in case they do not open up again.Check for some universities offering the best for the MBAs and placements.
You can give TANCET for Christ University which can be equally good opportunity.
SYMBIOSIS goes for good MBAs with a disciplined curriculum.
LPU is also good supply chain and logistics especially with good placements.
So keep checking the websites in order to plan your next move.

After you finish your course, your best BET is to get into a Management Training programme of a reputed hotel. Once you finish that you have the option if moving on to cruise ships.

Certainly, you can use your learning for financial modelling in the shipping industry. Look at any industry it requires finance, accounting and other management segments as enabling functions. Do some financial modelling with the data available online for shipping companies like Merck send the modelling to the financial head via email or through social media connectivity. Alternatively you can find a job in shipping industry. All these industries will be around quotes so you can look at Mumbai, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Kochi, etc.

Shipping and Marine are two different career streams. By shipping, we mean that you are getting into the logistics side but why Marine you are becoming the resource that executes work. From the engineering side, run the ships, manage the day to day shipping work, repairs engine, turbines etc. You can do a Masters in Marine Engineering as you've already done mechanical and get into marine life. This life looks lucrative in terms of money but has other consequences like you have to spend 6 months at home and 6 months on the sea. On the contrary in the shipping industry, you can look at jobs in Logistic companies where you can be a planner, scheduler or manager handling all the shipping assignments, etc. You can also look at roles and customs and excise that are somewhat linked to the shipping sector.

The minimum age to work on a cruise ship is usually either 18 or 21 years old, depending on the cruise line, cruise ship and position you are applying for. Beach resorts usually have a minimum age of 18 years old for many of their positions. The very basic qualification is a diploma from a catering college and 1-2 years experience in the hotel industry (preferably in a 5-star hotel). For kitchen positions, you need to have experience in a continental kitchen (hot or cold). Most cruise line jobs, especially in the hotel department, are for those below 30 years of age. You also need to be fluent in English and able to communicate effectively. Other basic requirements are that you need to be healthy and fit to manage the long hours on your feet.
