No, you cannot take direct admission for any course at Hirasugar Institute of Technology. The admissions at this Institute are entrance based, you have to clear certain exams to secure your seat. The Institute offered two courses, B.Tech and MTech, the following are the entrance exams accepted:-B.Tech:- COMEDK UGET, KCETM.Tech:- GATE, Karnataka PGCET. These are the only way of getting admission, cut off will be released according to seats intake and score of students. According to the latest information, the KCET Last Round Closing Rank (General-All India) ranged from 91188 to 214876 for all the specializations of B.Tech. The most desired course for OBC category was also CS only with closing rank of 91188. Unlike most Polytechnic institutions, Hirasugar Institute of Technology (HSIT) does not provide 100% scholarships to all students.
