Although it doesn't have the same level of notoriety as prestigious business schools like IIM Bangalore or ISB, IIBS Bangalore can be a respectable choice for an MBA, particularly for those looking for an inexpensive, industry-focused program. With chances for real-world projects, internships, and international exposure through study abroad and exchange programs, the MBA programme emphasizes practical skills. The average compensation package at IIBS is about ?4-6 Lakhs per year, which is less than that of graduates from more prominent universities, but placements are fair, with students usually landing jobs in industries like banking, marketing, and IT. The MBA programme is a desirable option for those on a tight budget because of its reasonably priced tuition. Job prospects with prestigious companies may be impacted by the institute's weaker infrastructure, alumni network, and brand recognition compared to higher-ranked institutions. All things considered, IIBS can be a decent option for students seeking a globally recognised degree or a strong MBA curriculum with industry exposure, but it might not be the ideal choice for those hoping to work for multinational firms.

Candidates must fulfill particular eligibility requirements and adhere to a predetermined admissions procedure in order to be admitted to IIBS Bangalore's MBA program. First and foremost, you need to have earned a bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited university with at least 50% of the possible points (45% for reserved categories). Although they may also administer their own entrance exam and interview for applicants who haven't taken these tests, IIBS accepts a number of national-level entrance exams, including CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, and ATMA. Candidates are shortlisted based on their entrance exam scores after fulfilling the requirements, and then they go through a Personal Interview (PI) round. Your academic background, professional experience (if any), communication abilities, and general fit for the MBA programme will all be assessed at the PI. Group discussions (GD) may also be taken into account by IIBS throughout the selection process. Following selection, candidates must pay the necessary fees and finish the admission requirements, which include submitting paperwork such as academic transcripts, entrance exam results, and proof of job experience (if applicable).
