The placement record is pretty good in J.J. College of Engineering and Technology. Nearly 70-80% of students are getting placements. The highest package goes around INR 10 LPA, whereas the average package goes somewhere between INR 3 LPA and INR 5 LPA. Some of the recruiters are TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant, so it shows some good connection with the industry. The college concentrates on developing skills and hands-on training for this reason; the students are found to be much employable and competitive in the job market. The placement cell supports the career aspiration of students strongly.

In order to get seats through this management quota mode, an extra fee has to be paid besides the entrance exams. Besides, entrance exam scores having valid marks from any one of the recognised entrance exams conducted by TNEA can also be considered for direct admission on merit.
