Course Curriculum Structuring for B.Com at J.V. Jain College, Saharanpur

Here's an overview of how the course curriculum is structured for B.Com at J.V. Jain College, Saharanpur:

    * First Year: Students have 7 subjects, which are considered good if studied honestly. Faculty members may not be very concerned about individual students, but they recommend good books.

    * Second Year: The course becomes more challenging, and the exam papers are set with good standards. However, some students feel that the course needs updating, as they still ask outdated questions.

    * Final Year: The course curriculum is good, and the exam paper consists entirely of MCQs, making it easier to score well.

Overall, the course curriculum follows a standard structure, with increasing difficulty throughout the three years. While some students feel that the course could benefit from updates, most agree that it prepares them well for their future careers.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the placements and faculty.
Placements: The percentage of students placed is less than 1%. It is a government college, and there are only 1 or 2 companies that come. Less than 1% of people get an internship. The only benefits are that it is a government university and it has good value, but there are no placements.
Infrastructure: In terms of facilities and infrastructure, J. V. Jain is almost 17 acres and provides a good library facility for students. It has a good playground. The only thing is that the facility is fully provided, but the college didn't give us an opportunity to use it.
Faculty: Teachers are just like every other government teacher. They didn't teach us anything. We studied for ourselves. The course curriculum is relevant and it is easy to pass a semester at this college. The level of the paper is not hard. The exam can be passed after reading the book.
Other: I chose B.Com because I am a commerce student and I found B.Com a better option. The best thing about our course is that it combines accounting and finance, and I am interested in finance. I don't think that there should be any changes to this course, but the only change that is needed is that we need an internship to develop ourselves. The campus organise events from time to time and also provides scholarships to students.

It is a great college for getting a degree easily.
Placements: Job placements are negligible here. Sometimes you get a job, and sometimes not. We cannot expect a direct job unless any job consultancy company takes our data and call us. For job purposes, I never recommend it to anyone. Only if you are doing any private professional courses like CA or you are a businessman, then it is good for you.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are large, neat, and clean with full electricity and CCTV cameras. There is no proper canteen but the library is good here. All the course books are available here and you can withdraw 2 books. No Wi-Fi is available there. A medical facility is not provided.
Faculty: Maximums all courses are available for medium-class families with the lowest fees. Teachers are top experts but not much interested in sharing their knowledge because students are not coming regularly. The course is not difficult, and you can even prepare from the model paper at last time.

The good thing about our college is that the fees are very low, and this is a great deal. Thank you.
Placements: The percentage was very low. This was a bad point. There is nothing about the package, so how can I tell you? CA jobs are the only option in our course, which is also a bad thing. No one got an internship in my class. This was a bad thing to think about. In the end, everything is good.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, but with a password. Average quality. Bad sports room. Rooms always close, so what was the benefit if doors always closed for us? The sports room is for students who have an interest in sports activities, but the principal wants only students who just study.
Faculty: Teachers were not so good. The value of this course is not good. The semester exam was tough. But I did well to pass the exam, and as a result, I did really well and got good results. I would not recommend this college to good students who want to study but cannot afford the higher fee.
Other: I just want a degree. There must be a computer system.

It is a good college for those students who pursue other courses and jobs.
Placements: The placements in this college are not good, but other colleges may provide good placements cell. They do not provide opportunities to the students. All the general courses are available in this college, but they are not good. Students do not get the best opportunities.
Infrastructure: In this college, the classrooms are good, but there are fans and ventilation problems. The ground is good and green. The library does not provide good books to the students, and they have to rely on outside shops. The college is good at sports. The food served in the canteen is also good. Medical facilities are also available in this college.
Faculty: The teachers are experienced and educated but due to the environment of the college, they can not provide their services well. There are annual exams in the college that are not that hard to crack, and the curriculum is relevant. The pass percentage is 60%.
Other: The students mainly take admission to this college because there is no such necessity to attend the college even if students are regular. It is a good college for those students who pursue professional courses and jobs side by side. This helps them in getting a graduation degree.

I am fully satisfied and suggest every student in Saharanpur to pursue a course from this college.
Placements: Only 40% of the students got placements, and the salary package offered is just 2 LPA. Companies which usually visit our college are nearby companies. Students do not get any internship opportunities as they are well informed and need to find placements on their own. They have to find placement opportunities on their own from the third year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is nice, and everything is available to students. They provide us with Wi-Fi facility, and the library is well-equipped. Everything is the best. All events and extracurricular activities are organised in our college.
Faculty: All the teachers here are well qualified and knowledgeable. They are always ready to help us whenever we need help. The entire course curriculum is good and is according to the industry requirement. All the teachers teach us as per the curriculum and have a very good nature. I appreciate the efforts of our teachers.
Other: I have chosen this course as I have an interest in it, and B.Com is a very good course to start our career. We have lots of career opportunities after completing this course. Events are organised here which help us in imparting all the skills needed for us. I am really thankful to our college.

A review of JV Jain College.
Placements: There is no placement programme organised by the college. However, the knowledge you gain from here is quite good enough to help you with your higher education, and you can use it for your advantage. But if you think you can get placed through this college, you will be disappointed.
Infrastructure: The building itself is quite old. Although, one section of the college is newly constructed. But the majority part of the campus is old with no Wi-Fi facility. The library is quite old, and the computers in the lab are not in working condition. There is no hostel facility provided by the college.
Faculty: The course curriculum designed by the college is okay. We have 7 subjects in the first year. They are quite good if you study honestly. The faculty members don't care about you, but they still recommend you good books. You can gain good knowledge in the second year. The course is tough, and the exam paper is set with good standards. But the course still needs to be updated as they ask outdated questions in the exam paper. They ask questions like the previous Companies Act, etc. The course curriculum of the final year is good, and the exam paper contains all MCQs, so you can score well.
Other: There are communities for events, but they barely function and even if they do, the programmes are outdated. However, they still make it to the local newspaper, so you do have a chance to get famous if you have the skills.
