It does good publicity. Still, it is a poor college with pathetic teachers, worst infrastructure.
Placements: Placements in our college were good. The starting salary package offered is from Rs. 96,000 per annum to 3.2 LPA. We have to go to other prestigious institutions for off-campus placements and directly to companies for a job. You can get placed, but you only need to be competitive. I have qualified for all interviews except for 2 or 3 companies, but I didn't do any job because of the low salary. Still, after college through off-campus, I got a very good job with a salary package of 6 LPA. Our college is in a rural area, so none of the companies wants to visit here. If you are from civil or mechanical engineering, then you won't get your branch job for placements.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is pathetic, and it is only available in some areas of college like labs, and that too speed is pathetic. Classrooms are average. The library has most of the books, but our college management doesn't want students to sit in the library. They want you to come only in break time that is just 15-20 minutes. Private hostels are nearby the town, and you can join any of them. However, after a year, you can definitely move it because there are amenities and also restrictions. The canteen is pathetic with no hygiene. It doesn't have any menu, and only samosa, Poha and some chips are served. Sports and gyms are available here, but our college only focuses on lectures.
Faculty: Teachers are pathetic, which is the main reason that this college is the worst. Only HODs are professors. Teaching staff members are assistant professors, and mostly B.E and M.Tech graduates have 3-5 years of experience. Some are very good, but some are the worst. All the teaching staff members teach you like you are a kid, and they cover the entire portion and tests. Our college only wants you to be more successful in academics, so they focus on lectures and papers.
Other: I have chosen this course because of my low score on JEE entrance exam. I wanted to do electrical engineering from a very early stage of my life, so I continue to do it. Our college needs to focus on everything and let students enjoy their study along with the course with proper discipline.
