Dear Ansh, For the B.Tech in CSE programme, I highly recommend LPU for the same among all other private universities. I did MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is also studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few parameters I would like to share with you why CSE is good at LPU. PEP Classes- LPU provides placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. These classes help students for placements so that they can get selected in the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. The Knowledge Review has rated LPU as the 10th best Training & Placement Institution in India. Industry Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade. Comptia, Transorg, Geeksforgeeks, etc. That help students to explore themselves more in their field. In B.Tech, you have to study all the engineering subjects, But if you opt for B.Tech Hons. Then you have to study only one of the engineering subjects in more depth. So, in B.Tech you have to study all the subjects given by colleges. But in B.Tech Hons. You have to study only one subjects which you like the most and you get specialisation only in one subjects. So, according to my opinion, B.Tech Hons. Is the best option, In nowadays there is a very great demand for Hons. Degree. Choosing the best university with good placement is also important, I would recommend LPU based on my research that I have done by interacting LPU B.Tech students. SP Jain School of Global Management is good but there are better options out there for each student. Lexicon Management Institute of Leadership and Excellence for example, relatively new but is taking the educational world by a storm. LPU has been ranked 49 in the Management ranking in 2020 by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). The Business School of LPU is accredited from ACBSP, Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs from the USA ensuring quality education and industry experienced faculty members. The Training and Placement cell of University has a team of highly qualified and experienced professionals. The training & placement cell of university conducts many programs for Enhancing employ-ability such as Professional Enhancement classes, industry experts, Workshops, Mock Drives, Guest Lectures, Summer Internship and many others. Student can avail the opportunity like summer programme, credit transfer, international exposure etc. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of students. LPU offers scholarship based on various categories like previous qualification percentages, LPU NEST exam, national level test and many more.
