MH-CET or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is an entrance exam conducted by the Government of Maharashtra for admission to various management courses including MBA and MS in the state of Maharashtra. Here are some tips on how to prepare for the MH-CET exam:
Understand the exam pattern: Before starting your preparation, it is important to understand the MH-CET exam pattern. The exam comprises of 200 multiple choice questions from Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical/Abstract Reasoning. Create a study plan: Based on the exam pattern and your strengths and weaknesses, create a study plan that includes a comprehensive study material and daily/weekly targets. Practice previous year question papers and mock tests: Solving previous year question papers and mock tests will help you understand the exam pattern, question types, and also help you assess your performance.
Work on your time management skills: Time management is a crucial aspect of the MH-CET exam. Work on your speed and accuracy to ensure that you can complete the exam within the given time. Improve your communication skills: Good communication skills are important for a management aspirant. Work on improving your communication skills by reading newspapers, articles, and taking part in group discussions. Regarding your second question, pursuing CA can definitely be considered a good profile for admission to JBIMS. CA is a highly respected professional degree in the field of finance and commerce, and many successful management professionals have also pursued CA. However, admission to JBIMS is not solely based on CA or any other degree, but also takes into account the candidate's MH-CET score, academic record, work experience, and other criteria. So, while pursuing CA is a good profile, it is important to also focus on your performance in the MH-CET exam to increase your chances of admission to JBIMS.
