Genuine review of JNGEC.

Placements: The placement of the college is very poor; not everyone gets placed here, with only one or two people securing jobs. This college also does not have a placement department. The highest package from this college is 10 LPA, while the lowest is 3 LPA.

Review for JNGEC Sundernagar: good surrounding, poor mess food.

Placements: Most of the students get placed in the university on campus. The highest package offered in textile engineering was 16 LPA, while the lowest package for placement was 2.3 LPA. The average package is 4-5 LPA. Our batch is the second one, so there have not been any placements yet.

Good infrastructure affordable and beautiful surroundings.

Placements: At the time, there is no pass-out batch in Computer Science Engineering, but the placement record of the college is fairly okay. The highest package offered was around 21 LPA, and the median was around 4-5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are HP, Wipro, Vardhaman, and Tech Mahindra. About 30-40 percent of students got placed, though most opted for higher studies. Most students get internships in the 8th semester, and industrial training takes place throughout the course.

You'll be satisfied with academics and faculty support but not by extra-curricular activities.

Placements: There are only 70 seats and only a few are placed because companies are not core companies. The highest package was 6 LPA, the lowest 1.2 LPA, and average is around 4.5 LPA. Few students in textile department got placed with 9 LPA package. Recruiting companies are not top at all. Most students got internship in these companies and some of them from ECE course got internship in DRDO. In ECE, top jobs you can get are surely at scientist post or if in private sector then VLSI is the role offered.

It is the number 1 engineering college in HP.

Placements: Approximately 10% of students got placed. In Jawahar Lal Nehru Government Engineering College, Sundernagar, the lowest package is 9 LPA, and the highest package is 20-25 LPA. Companies like Havells, PA, Pinions, etc., recruit students here. Students can gain good and proper practical knowledge here.

It is a great college with staff and facilities.

Placements: For placements, students have to clear their degrees with good marks. After the completion of the degree, students are offered great packages from leading manufacturers or companies in the automobile sector or others. Although staff are very good, and help in placements.

I am satisfied with placements, very good faculty members and good infrastructure.

Placements: About 50% of the students got placed in the previous year. The highest salary package offered was about 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. Private sector companies are the top recruiter. All students of the final year got an internship. Roles like workers, engineers head, manager, maintenance engineers, etc., are offered in the private sector, which is the main scope in the respective field.

Our college is doing its best day by day and has a really good infrastructure.

Placements: About 50% of the students from our course got placed in various companies, while some other students have qualified in government exams. The average salary package offered in the previous batch was around 2 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The placement cell is developing, and in the next 2-3 years, the placements would be great.

I am highly satisfied with the college in terms of faculty, infrastructure and other facilities.

Placements: From my batch, three students got placed. From my senior batch, only one student got placed. The salary offered ranged from Rs. 13,000-40,000 per month, and the average salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. Most of the companies that visited the college are related to call centre profile. The university provides internships to the reserved class students whose family income is less than 1.5 LPA. It is also provided based on their brilliance and merit. The stipend ranges from Rs. 2,000-18,000 p...

A reputed college which provides value for money.

Placements: Placements in our college were decent for textile and electronics engineering, but they were not that good for civil and mechanical branches. The average salary package offered was a bit less when compared to the private counterparts. However, placements have started improving with the junior batches. The average salary package has slightly improved compared to the 2016 batch.

The best place to study and connect with people, and the faculty are friendly and good.

Placements: The college is highly reputed and provides good placements. Students have to crack the interviews. The placement depends on the merit of the students. Higher are your scores, greater are the chances for you to get placed. The most reputed companies like Tata, Samsung, HP, Maruti and many others visit the college.

I'm not satisfied with the faculty and placements.

Placements: The college lacks regarding the placements. But the students who are good and intelligent were placed, and they were offered a good salary package. Two students from our senior batch were placed with a salary package of 8.5 LPA. The college provides internships for 6 months in good companies after the completion of the course.

Review of Jawaharlal Nehru Government Engineering College.

Placements: Working hard for getting placements. New TPO has been appointed by the Director sir. Now it is may be possible that all branches get placed. But we have good placement records in T. E. And E. C. E. After the start of CBCS there will be more attention toward the placement.

The college is average. We cannot say it as the worst or very good.

Placements: There is very rarely chances of placements, as the college is located in the remote area. So companies not visited here very often. But in the last two years, the companies started visiting the college. In the last year, 5-4 students are placed on the college campus but not get the packages as desired.

As per today's scenario, our college is still developing, and placement percentage is increasing.

Placements: Currently, there are four engineering departments (T.E, M.E, C.E, and E.C.E) are running out of which T.E department gives almost 100% placements whereas E.C.E have slightly less. The civil and mechanical have almost nil, but as compared to other colleges in neighbouring, it is the best.
