Applicants are chosen into JNU BA (Hons) programs according to their performance in the NTA-conducted CUET. In addition, lateral entry admission to the second year of the BA (Hons) programme is provided by the university. In addition to having a valid CUET score, candidates who are ready to apply must have completed the first year of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or university with a minimum of 45% aggregate (50% in the case of a BA Hons in German). The qualifying requirement is passing Class 12 or an equivalent exam from an accredited board with at least 45% overall.
