Jayam College: a student's opinion.

Placements: The highest package offered is INR 6 lpa, the lowest package is INR 2.2 lpa, and the average package is INR 3.2 lpa for the mechanical engineering department. There is a very active placement cell to invite more recruiters, and all clear students are placed in the best companies. If you have extraordinary communication skills, you can also be placed in the best company. Top roles are quality engineer, production engineer, and management for the mechanical department. Top recruiting companies inc...

Jayam College of Engineering and Technology is absolutely a good college .

Placements: Jayam College of Engineering and Technology is a good placement college. Around 90 percent of students are placed in good companies in every year. This college placement training cell is very active. So they brought more companies like Reliance, TCS, IBM, Accenture, OLA, etc. My batch has the highest salary packages, like 7.8 LPA.

Experience at Jayam college.

Placements: In my opinion, the placement is good and the salary package is average for the mechanical engineering department compared to other departments like computer science and information technology. The average package is INR 2.2 LPA for the mechanical engineering department, and the mechanical students are also placed in IT companies. They are providing the best placement training to us, and the placement percentage is also high. All the students are placed, and the internships are available only dur...

Review of Jayam College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: The placement process is very cool and impressive, and they provide separate placement training for all department students to place with the best company. The placement percentage is above 80 percent, and the highest package is INR 6 lpa for the mechanical engineering department. Other departments like CSE have a higher package compared to the mechanical department, and the lowest package is INR 2.2 lpa for our department. Disappointed with their useless rules and politics. Even they banned mobiles for 1st year students.

Placements: This college placement was quite good compared to other colleges in this region. Campus placement is available but many students won't get selected because of students' poor performance. Top companies like TCS, CTS, and Tech Mahindra give a chance via online drive or off-campus. The placement cell promised to provide placement opportunities only if you have good academic records. If you are skilled they can arrange an opportunity.

There are average placement facilities, good infrastructure and good environment.

Placements: Our college does not have a good number of core companies participating in the placement of the mechanical department. The same scenario is followed for our senior batches too. Many companies have visited the campus for placements, for the graduate trainee posts. Salary offered to the students ranges from Rs. 12,000 per month to Rs. 15,000 per month in these companies. On an average, 5% people have been placed during the placement. Arrangements for internships is nearly zero. Our college has a p...

About Jayam College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Don't believe the college. It is a cheating college, and there are no placements in this college. So, many students life is spoiled here. All the fake companies visit the college and don't choose the college for counselling. If you need placements, then look some other college in another district.

The college has nice infrastructure and we can enjoy the college life.

Placements: The placements are worst, and I think before 2010, the placement was good. Core companies came to our college. The companies that came are TVS, Wipro, Mahindra, Tata Consultancy Services etc. The students are placed in core companies after 2012 small companies only came to the college, but the college life is nice. The important thing in our college is that we have NCC.

Surely a disappointment to those who want to join here. If you like food, then maybe can consider

Placements: The last batch that got placed was 2011 batch and that too was in a BPO for 4 students. For my batch, it was merely zero. No company visits the college for placements except for a few BPOs that need some slave like students to work for them. On a whole, the placement is a myth for Jayam students.

Jayam College of Engineering and Technology is situated at Dharmapuri, a district in Tamilnadu. There is a problem we usually face i.e. after mid night we will find it difficult to get a bus from Dharmapuri to Nallanur where, the college is situated. There are certain faculty members who are very talented while some are not. The college management is very strict in terms of fee. Some of my seniors were unable to attend the university examination as they failed to pay some part of the fees about ...
