Both Modern Education Society’s College of Engineering (MESCE) and Jayawantrao Sawant College of Engineering (JSCOE) have a good record for placement and their percentages do vary. MESCE, in particular, has high placement rates in areas of specializations such as Computer Science as well as Mechanical Engineering with companies known to be frequent recruiter of MESCE students. JN has a decent place for placement, especially an IT and engineering stream that frequently receives placements in renowned companies. Finally, in terms of placements for fresher’s both colleges are good but MESCE may have a slight upper edge in terms of industry tie up and comparisons of placement statistics. According to these findings, prospective students should base themselves on their course preferences and performance in placements.
