FLIGHT DISPATCHERS COURSE:
Airlines appoint Flight Dispatchers for flight planning and obtaining ATC and MET briefings and to brief the pilots accordingly and other duties enlisted in the company's operational manual. Appointment as a Flight Dispatcher requires the students to be fully trained and approved by DGCA.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Student should have attained the age of 21 years. The minimum educational qualification required is pass in 10+2 standard examination with mathematics and physics subjects from a recognised Board / University.
DURATION OF THE COURSE:
The duration of the training will consist of 360 hours or 12 weeks of Ground Classes. Thereafter, on successful passing of DGCA / TRTO examination, 90 working days of On-the-Job training and 5 hours of Simulator sessions for observing flight deck operations will be provided. In case the student is unable to clear the DGCA/TRTO examinations in the first attempt and requests for any additional/corrective training, the same may be provided at extra cost.
