Placement Records:Limited data: Due to the relatively young age of the B.Sc. program (launched in 2020), comprehensive placement data is still under development. However, anecdotal evidence and testimonials suggest promising prospects.Industry connections: JSES boasts strong connections with leading corporations and NGOs in the environmental sector, opening doors for potential internship and placement opportunities.Alumni success: Early graduates are finding diverse placements in areas like environmental consulting, sustainability management, renewable energy, and research.Skills and Focus:Interdisciplinary approach: JSES equips graduates with a broad skillset covering scientific knowledge, social Science perspectives, policy analysis, and communication. This diverse skillset makes them adaptable to various environmental careers.Focus on employability: The curriculum integrates practical learning experiences like internships and field projects, enhancing employability and preparing students for real-world challenges.Challenges and Considerations:Smaller programme size: Compared to established environment programs in other universities, JSES currently has a smaller B.Sc. batch size. While this can offer personalized attention, the smaller alumni network might take time to establish a consistent placement record.Emerging program: As a new program, JSES is still building its reputation in the industry. Some potential employers might be unfamiliar with the program, requiring graduates to actively showcase their skills and knowledge.Overall Placement Outlook:Promising potential: Although the B.Sc. program is young, early indications suggest encouraging placement prospects. Strong industry connections, an interdisciplinary curriculum, and employability-focused skills development pave the way for successful career options.Continued growth: Over time, as the programme matures and builds a larger alumni network, the placement record is expected to become more established and robust.

Unfortunately, getting admission into the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Environment & Sustainable Development programme at Jindal School of Environment and Sustainability (JSES) with a 60% score in Class 12th is challenging but not impossible.Minimum Eligibility:While JSES accepts applications from any stream in Class 12th, they require a minimum aggregate score of 70%. Currently, a 60% score doesn't meet this minimum eligibility criterion.Alternative Admission Paths:CUET and other standardized tests: Starting from the 2024 intake, Jindal will utilize CUET scores along with scores from other standardized tests like SAT and ACT for B.Sc. admissions. Performing exceptionally well in these exams can potentially compensate for your Class 12th score. However, the official minimum CUET score for JSES B.Sc. is yet to be announced, and it's likely to be competitive.Strong Application Components: Crafting a compelling personal statement showcasing your passion for environmental studies, relevant extracurricular achievements, and strong reasoning skills in the supplemental questions can create a positive impression and potentially enhance your chances despite the lower 12th score.

The precise intake of seats for the B. Sc. On their website or in other official sources, the Jindal School of Environment and Sustainability (JSES) program is not easily accessible. But based on what I could find, this is what I discovered: Limited intake: JSES typically keeps its undergraduate programs, including the B, to small class sizes. Sc. This enables one-on-one communication and attention from faculty members. Estimated range: The B is based on forum discussions and student reviews. Sc. JSES probably accepts between 30 and 50 students per year for its program. This is not an official number, though, and it could change a little based on the year and program changes.
