The highest package offered has been INR 33 LPA recently while the average package stands at around INR 6 to 7 LPA. Large companies such as Infosys, TCS, Capgemini and Byju frequently recruit from the campus, hence providing quite diverse job opportunities for the graduates. Internships also form a large part of the placement process with around 30% to 50% of the students obtaining intern positions. JIET is, therefore, considered to be a good option for engineering students who can expect good placement prospects.

Firstly, the cutoff trends of these recent times are mostly exam ranks in JEE Main for B. Tech admissions in JIET, which is a very popular institute of engineering and technology. In this respect, most probably, this time for the year 2023, the cutoff is likely to be around 90+ for the Common Rank List (CRL) and 70+ for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS). The cutoff is likely to be 72+ for Other Backward Class (OBC-NCL) and, for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates it would likely be somewhere near about 50+. The cut-off for the Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidate would likely be expected around 39+ and for candidates with Disabilities (PwD), it may vary between 0-1.
