If you are looking for placements after you graduate, Amity would help you in providing that but there are no placement opportunities from Jogesh Chandra. Therefore, I would suggest you prefer Amity University.

The college is more of like a traditional university and doesn't provide services like the other private or the National Law Universities. But, being in a city like Kolkata, with lots of big law firms, a student can have the advantage of the location. The past students are currently working the various Courts as successful lawyers, specially in the Calcutta High. Also, the most interesting thing is that you get to do an internship under some amazing lawyers at Calcutta High Court, like Protik Prokash Banerjee (Protik Da).

First of all one has to appear for the BA LL.B entrance exam which is held by Calcutta University in the month of May - June. To get admission in Jogesh Chandra Chaudhuri College, one needs to rank within 300.
Admissions are completely based on the merit list.
