It is the best government law college in Kolkata.

Placements: Our college does not provide placements. But we are eligible for internships if we have a valid college identity card. It is the best government law college in Kolkata and getting admission in this college is difficult.

It is the best government law college.

Placements: Our college does not provide any placements. Almost 60-65% of students got internships in legal firms under the advocacy of West Bengal and it increases every year by 2-3%. Internships are very useful to gather experience but there is no placement cell which is a drawback.

If you want to excel in the field of law then this is the place.

Placements: There is nothing separately called placement which is done from our college. There is no such company that comes for recruitment but if you do internship under a good senior then it will help you in future. Law interns get a good opportunity in future and it helps then both in experience and economy. As a law student I have learned that in practice field experience matters.

Best government law college.

Placements: Best government law college out of the four government law colleges in Kolkata. You get internships in courts. Workshops, campaigns, debates, and moot courts take place. Some of the ex-students are now in the top NLUs and some have been judges in the high court.

It is a well-known college for law.

Placements: Our college provides placement after the completion of graduation and in a quite good percentage. Many companies like TCS, Amazon, etc., offer jobs here. Overall, if you want a placement, then join this college.

Best law college in West Bengal after NUJS.

Placements: There is no placement in the college. Intern can earn from 0 to 10,000. Most of the students choose litigation. Very few can opt for judicial service, corporate office. This college is under Calcutta University. No college under Calcutta University offers placement. If you want placement in a law firm, then choose NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY. But opting for this college doesn't mean you will not get placement, you have to work extra smart than others. But the college is the best in the state after N...

It is a government college, so first, it conducts an entrance test for students.

Placements: Our college doesn't provide placements as it is more oriented towards judiciary and advocate rather than corporate life. About 60% of the students from our course got an internship in legal firms under the advocacy of West Bengal.

It is the best law college under Calcutta University.

Placements: The college does not provide placements. The internship programme was mandatary in the previous year. The college helps us to get internship opportunities in courts, which provides us with practical knowledge and at the end, we get an internship certificate, which helps us to get better job opportunities in future.

A good college with trained and experienced faculty members and administration.

Placements: The college does not have a placement cell. However, students are trained to practice as an advocate in any court. It helps the students with internships in any reputed firm, company or under any practising lawyer. But if students want to get placed, they need to opt for off-campus recruitment. Currently, none of the law colleges under Calcutta University have a placement cell.

Placements: About 60% of students got internships from the college. There is no placement cell in the college, and I have no idea about the salary packages offered. The internships are very useful and efficient. Many students get internships every year. Everything is perfect and fine, and the internships and all are good.

Good infrastructure and provides ample opportunities for practical exposure.

Placements: The college authority in collaboration with the student's council has already conducted a placement drive, in which many reputed law firms came for an on-campus interview. It also provides contacts for out-campus placements. They also provide contact of individual advocates under whom a student may be placed as a junior advocate after he/she becomes a B.A. LL.b graduate.

The perfect college to study law

Placements: The placement cell in our college is still developing. The internship cell has been developed recently. Most of the students do an internship in courts. The stipend is not much offered to the interns but some firms offer from Rs. 2,000-Rs. 5,000. So to get placement the student has to be very good and intelligent and must have prepared a proper CV.

The college is nice. There are a lot of attendance problems. The only reason it is worth the money is because it is a government college. The campus is not so big. It is a small campus for 500 students. They do not provide any placements. They only provide slow free Wi-Fi facility that too only in front of canteen and cold water. Canteen's food quality is not 5 star but within budget. Faculty is good but not all.

In this college, nothing disappointed me.

Placements: No campusing system is available in the college. But all the students get internship facilities by the college under any reputed lawyer. After completing my B.A. LL.B. they can go for judiciary examination or LL.M. Most of the students go for the internship in various courts all over India and some of them crack judiciary examination. Students are also looking for corporate jobs after completing their B.A. LL.B. Almost 90% of students get good placement by their abilities.
