One of the good college for engineering.
Placements: The college offers great placement opportunities many of my batch mates were selected in different companies with good salary packages. The highest package offered was 6.4 lakhs per annum and the minimum package offered was 2 lakhs per annum, whereas the average package offered was 3.2 lakhs per annum.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is pretty good, with spacious classrooms and air conditioners in the auditorium. The college is neat and clean and the canteen offers good and tasty food at a reasonable price. The hostel is decent, with a security guard and a water filter on every floor.
Faculty: The teaching faculties are really good and experienced. Some of them are PhD holders with years of teaching experience and knowledge. The students need to study thoroughly to achieve good marks in exams. The teachers conduct various types of curricular activities in order to prepare students for internships.
Other: The college campus is really nice with lots of activities to do.

I would recommend students to join this college.
Placements: Many placements are provided in the CS branch. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA to 6 LPA. Companies like Oil India, NRL, Hindustan Unilever, Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, Hexagon, and many more visit our college to hire students. Placements are low in the civil engineering department. Students will also get international internships if they study properly.
Infrastructure: All practical instruments are available in our college. The food served in the hostel is good. Our hostel environment is very good. Inter-hostel matches for sports like cricket, football, volleyball, and many more are conducted on campus.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good and helpful. Semester exams are not tough if students study properly. CIE papers are worth 20 marks for each subject. There are three CIEs per semester.
Other: At this college, cultural nights are conducted for 3 days once a year.

It is really good government college and you can learn many things
Placements: Only 5 - 20 student placed out of 100 students in our batch. The highest package offered was 7 CTC during our time. The top recruiting companies are vedanta, KEC international, IGCL etc. Almost above 60% got internships from our batch of civil engineering.
Infrastructure: The facilities of our college was quite well. We have a library where there are all books available and Wi-Fi is also provided which was very much useful to us. Hostel was very well maintain where we have our hostel library, sports are also available.
Faculty: All the teachers were helpful except some and they all are highly qualified. Most of the teachers have done their masters and also Ph.D. from IITs and NITs. The semester exams in our college was moderate level. The question in the exam was from the syllabus.

In hostel number 1, you will have an excellent life.
Placements: About 20% of students get placed from here. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. TCS, Wipro, etc., visit here. About 100% of students get internships in different areas like government PWDs, water resource department, etc. Roles offered after passing out are an assistant engineer, assistant project manager, field in charge, etc.
Infrastructure: Everything is available which you need in the civil engineering course. There is a well-maintained library, labs, etc. The mess in the hostels is good. Sports equipment is available, and the grounds are in good condition. Medical facilities are not much available in the hostel premises. There are good quality laboratories where we can do our practical works.
Faculty: Teachers here were qualified and very helpful. Their teaching quality is good. Students get a good education, and they definitely get ready for the industry. Almost 80% is the pass percentage.
Other: I wanted to do engineering, and I got placed in a good engineering college. The campus is clean and has good-quality roads. Pheonix is the cultural fest organised here, while Technovas is the technical fest.

One of the best state engineering colleges in Assam.
Placements: Mostly CSE get good placements. But placements are good compared to other colleges in the state. Top PSUs also come for placements as well. Good place to start your career as its old and reputed college so there are lot of alumni as well for further help and growth.
Infrastructure: Hostels are cleaned and they are cheap and good. Also Wi-Fi is available in all places. New library has been set up although it provides a lot of varieties but books are a bit old nowadays so a repair might be required. Or else it has everything for any student.
Faculty: Good and very experienced teachers. Well developed course curriculum. It has lots of projects of daily life which makes it really good. Also there is chance for paper presentation given by teachers which is very essential for someone who wants to continue their career in academics.

Yes, you might have to wait around for the counselling to know that. You might get into JEC but you have more chances of getting in BVEC or JIST.
