You think college admissions are a lottery A 74.88 percentileThat minimum effort will earn you minimal opportunities! I may not be familiar with the Indian National Testing Agency Joint Entrance Examination Main, but if universities in India are as impacted as universities in the United States, you will need to take some remedial courses, or even repeat your worse courses before the academic year begins. Here is the initial challenge: bring your percentile up to 80 percentage, no less. For more details, read the academic catalog or contact the admissions office at KJ Somaiya College of Engineering - University of Mumbai.

KJ Somaiya College of Engineering is a constituent college of the prestigious Somaiya Vidyavihar University. The institute offers undergraduate B.Tech courses under its engineering department. Admissions to this course are granted on the basis of national-level entrance examinations such as JEE Main, MHT-CET, SAT, and PERA-CET. The basic eligibility criteria for B.Tech is:
passed the HSC or its equivalent 10+2 level examination in India, with physics and mathematics as mandatory subjects, as well as one of the following (chemistry, biotechnology, biology, technical vocational subjects). obtained at least 45% in aggregate in 10+2 grade. The student must have taken the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) or the JEE-Main (Paper-1) or the PERA CET or the MHT-CET exam. There is no separate cutoff for the SAT, but based on previous year's trends, a student is eligible to apply if she or he has a non-zero score on the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT). The college then publishes a merit list of successful candidates for different branches of B.Tech according to the score of all applicants and the availability of seats.

Hello,
KJ Somaiya College of Engineering (KJSCE) offers a four-year BTech programme at the UG level. Admission to BTech programme is based on MHT CET score, followed by CAP Counselling, which is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai. The institute-specific qualifying cutoff is announced after the declaration of MHT CET 2021 result to manage the seat allotment process. The seat allotment process is based on the college cutoff and the candidate's preference for courses and colleges. The cut offs are generally declared in two rounds of CAP Counselling based on closing ranks for each of the BTech specialisations. The cutoffs are released for the home state (Maharashtra) and All India candidates, which are further divided into GOPENS, LOPENS, MI and TFWS categories.
