The FS course is focused on the fast growing Financial Services sector in India. If you're interested in Finance, you'll enjoy the course, as most of the subjects right from the first year are focused on finance. Between LBSIM and SIMSR, I'd definitely prefer simsr. But maybe if you're from Delhi, you can consider LBSIM. In FS, you'll be allowed to sit for all finance profiles which come in. Banks like JP Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley etc. and other financial institutions come a lot. Not aware of the placements in LBSIM, so I cannot comment on that.

It seems difficult during counselling, but there may be a slim chance. But you should definitely be able to get it through the waitlist. The courses closed around 2000 last year.

Unfortunately, this is too specific to keep track of. Each company has a different package, and may even offer different packages based on profile, experience etc. So i cannot answer your question. Just know that the average package stated is quite accurate, as a lot of companies were certainly offering packages around 9 lakhs.
