College of Engineering require candidates to have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Additionally, candidates must appear for the EAMCET (Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test) conducted by the state of Andhra Pradesh. For the B.Tech programme the tuition fee are mentioned below:– Self Finance / Convener Quota seats INR 35000/- to INR 50000/- per annum Management Quota seats INR 70000/- to INR 100000/- per annum. The tuition fee for the M.Tech course is between INR 25,000 to INR 40,000 per annum. College also has extra charges; admission INR 5000, examination INR 2000 and library fee of INR 1000. The fees structure of all colleges may sum up to INR 1,40,000 to INR 4,00,000 for a 4-year B.Tech program.

It is possible to get admission in the college for the B.E./B.Tech course other than passing the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET examination. Out of it, 30% of seats for each course are filled under management quota, the admissions of which are on the basis of the candidate's score in 10+2 or equivalent examination. A candidate has to have 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at least. Furthermore, this college also considers the scores of JEE Main exam for admissions in the college. The seats under management quota are allocated according to merit of the candidate and comes at a fee of INR 70000 to INR 100000 per annum as against INR 35000 to INR 50000 per annum for Andhra Pradesh students.

Few of the luminaries passing out from the college are Ravi Kiran, the software engineer in Google, USA with a pay package INR 1.2 crores per annum. Microsoft India senior engineer Suresh Reddy is also one of the alumnus with a package of INR 25 Lacs per annum. The college also has other like Pradeep Kumar, project manager at Infosys, India, Rajeshwar Reddy, a senior software engineer with Wipro, India, etc. According to the survey about 80% of college alumni are either placed in top companies or are running their start-up's and the average salary offered to them ranges between 4-5 Lacs per annum.

When applying to the B.E./ B.Tech programme at K.S.R.M. College of Engineering, the candidates must attach some documents as well. They include the 10+2 marks sheet and certificate, Transfer Certificate, Conduct Certificate, Migration Certificate, Andhra Pradesh EAMCET/JEE Main Admit Card & Rank Card, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, Aadhaar Card. Also, such candidates will also be required to attach photocopies of the above documents attested by the respective authorities and two passport size photographs. The application form must be filed together with a demand draft of 500 INR for the application. The documents must be remitted to the college address in person or through post in the stipulated dates.

As a rule most colleges release the results of the semester exam in a period of 30-45 days after the examinations have been conducted in the K.S.R.M College of Engineering. For example, the CHSE Odisha has published revaluation outcome for III semester B.Tech examinations that were conducted in July August 2024 on September 2024. Likewise, the revaluation results of the I semester B.Tech exams which was conducted in May 2024 was declared in the same month . The college announces the results usually on its official website and the students can access the said results using their roll numbers. The exact date when the institutes declare results usually differs from year to year but it comes out in one or two months after the final exams.

Centralized admission is given as per the merit list prepared by the candidate's percentage in the qualifying examination, and the fees are approximately INR 70,000 to INR 1,00,000 per annum.
