KSOU is a state public university that offers a variety of courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including MBA, M.Com, MA, and M.Sc. The university's admission process is designed to be inclusive and accessible to a wide range of students, and it does not specify any particular entrance exam for MBA admissions. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and have submitted the application form with the required documents and fees can proceed with the payment of the course fee and start their distance education program. On the other hand, Mysore Correspondence College (MCC) also offers similar variety of courses. When talking of the fee structure of MBA, MCC is costly compared to KSOU. But talking about placements, MCC seems better in some manners.Talking about these two institutions in an overall manner, they are both good in their own ways.

Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) was not affiliated with UGC in the past year, but now it is registered with UGC, which increases the value of the institute. The infrastructure of KSOU is excellent, and teachers are well educated and have great experience in their own subjects. The fees for the UG and PG programs are low compared to any other recognised institution. This is a good college for middle-class families who can't afford a recognised college or a high-level college.
