Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.

Best place for placements.
Placements: Nearly 70% of students from my batch got placed in many IT and core-related companies. The highest package I heard was 10 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Companies come for campus interviews. For my core, there are no top companies, only some MNC companies. Students without arrears got internships from companies.
Infrastructure: Our college is old, but the labs and library are fully equipped. The campus has Wi-Fi, classrooms with projectors and smartboards. The hostel is the same for all; there is no AC hostel, and the food is average. Both veg and non-veg menus are available. Medical support is near our college; the institution medical college is close to us. They support sports and take students to various tournaments if they have talent.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced in our college; they teach very clearly, making it easy to understand. They are also available anytime to answer questions. All faculty members are ME graduates with high teaching quality. Our college is autonomous, so the courses are chosen by our staff to meet our needs and make us industry-ready. We have two semesters per year, and in each semester, we have three internal exams, two unit tests, and assignments to submit. We must score 50% to pass.
Other: This college provides better placement compared to other colleges with high fests. Our staff and practical knowledge are the best things about our course. We need more practical activities like those in industries. We have two major events: Kalam for first-year students and Dhuruva for second, third, and fourth-year students. This is one of the biggest events in Coimbatore among colleges. We have two scholarship options: one from the state and another from the central government for backward and low-class people. The campus has green surroundings and a pleasant environment. We have many clubs like NSS, photography, English, etc.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: Around 70% of students are placed. The lowest salary package offered in mechanical engineering, and the highest salary package offered in IT department. L&T is the top recruiting company. Almost 50% of students get internships. Around 80 companies visit our college for recruitment. Assistant engineer is the top role offered in this course. Many students get internships in this course.
Infrastructure: In this college, Wi-Fi is enabled. Laboratories are also available. Classrooms are very good and projectors are also provided. Central library and articles library are also provided. Hostel house keeping is good. The food quality is very good. Medical facilities are available. Facilities and infrastructure are very good. Sports and games opportunities are very good for students. The food court is also provided, and mess is excellent.
Faculty: The teaching method is very good, and all teachers are doctorates. Our college is very best for entry students, because it provides the best opportunity. Students become efficient because they teach very well. Our course curriculum is relevant. The pass percentage is 50% i.e., 30% for internals, 10% for unit tests, and 10% for assignments.
Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in it. Many events are conducted in this college, like Kalam and Dhuruva dance fest. Scholarships and internships are also very good.

It will give you a good career.
Placements: From the 1st year itself, the college provides placement classes for improving the skills of the students. The experienced placement trainees work hard for the placements of the students. Every year they plan to provide placement to all the students. They provide good placements when compared to other colleges in Tamil Nadu. Last year (2016) they had arranged more than 1000 companies to conduct placement in our college.
Infrastructure: They are improving the facilities. Wi-Fi is free for all students on the college campus. The labs are fully equipped with equipments which improve the practical knowledge of students. There is a medical college nearby this college and all types of medical facilities are provided by it. They also support sports and games in our college. Every year they conduct year-wise and department-wise matches and they allow students to participate in inter-college and intra-college competitions.
Faculty: Each faculty in this college is talented. The teachers care for all the students and their future. They treat us like their own children and act like a friend. The staff members are helpful.
