Some of the entrance exam scores that KCG College of Technology accepts for admission to B.Tech are:- TNEA: Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions is a single-window counselling process conducted by Anna University for admission to B.Tech courses in Tamil Nadu. Candidates who have passed 10+2 with 45% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are eligible to apply. The admission is based on the merit list prepared by considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination .- CBSE 12th: Central Board of Secondary Education is a national-level board that conducts the Class 12 examinations for various streams. Candidates who have passed 10+2 with 75% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are eligible to apply for B.Tech courses at KCG College of Technology. The admission is based on the marks obtained in the board examination.- Diploma/B.Sc: Candidates who have completed a Diploma course in Engineering/Technology or a Bachelor's degree in Science with Mathematics as one of the subjects are eligible to apply for direct second year (lateral entry) admission to B.Tech courses at KCG College of Technology. - KCG College of Technology does not conduct an entrance examination for the admission to B.Tech course- Candidates who have passed/ pursuing Class 12 can register for B.Tech course offered by KCG College- However, the applicants must have a minimum of *75% marks* in Class 12 with Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics as the major subjects- For admission under Government Quota, Government norms and guidelines have to be followed- For admission under Management Quota, candidates have to apply through consortium of self-financing Arts & Professional Colleges in the prescribed form- The final selection will be based on their marks in the qualifying examination and interview- For admission to direct second year (B.E./ B.Tech) programs (lateral entry scheme), candidates must have a pass with minimum eligibility marks in one of the Diploma Courses in Engineering / Technology or a Bachelor's Degree in Science with Mathematics as one of the subjects- For admission to postgraduate programs (M.E.), candidates must have a valid GATE score card or TANCET score card and a pass in B.E./B.Tech in the relevant branch of engineering
