Kharagpur College Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Upto 70% of students were placed in my college. The highest package at my college is for the science department, the lowest package is for the arts department and the average package is for the commerce department. The top recruiting companies for my college is Tata Metals, etc. 60% of students got internships from our course.

Placements: Kharagpur College provides the degrees like B.A. and M.A. So the placement is not a big factor. The placement plays an important part in collegrs providing professional degrees. Talking about replacement, the college collects one's information and helps you to connect with some of India's famous institutions like RICE. Although Some of my friends are directly benefited with some minor jobs. Honestly speaking, you can nt expect much from a college providing general cources like M.A. B.A. M.Sc. ...

Placements: In my college, there are no placement opportunities as our college doesn't provide placement. They send students to an organization where they have training and get placements through college seminars. However, the college does not directly provide any placements or internships.

Placements: Placements after the B.A. course is kind of fun. It is not a technical college like IIT Kharagpur. I did not expect much either. The college provides you with the connection with instructions like RICE and other job-related instructions. Some of my friends got some job opportunities. I personally do feel that the college does not provide the opportunities it promises for students. Although, I am also beneficiated indirectly. The RICE Institute contacted me from the number college provided them. ...

Placements: In terms of placements, this college is not very high class. Our college, along with the department, provides references to some local companies, but very few students are able to get a job in them. I think the college needs to be improved in this aspect. However, the mentality the authority creates in you helps a lot.

Placements: At the starting of the 3rd year, only one campus interview was held by Concentrix which is an MNC came from Kolkata. Only 2 were offered jobs. The starting salary they paid was Rs. 10,000 per month. That is a BPO job, and the students got their placement in Kolkata.
