KIIT: The best private college in Bhubaneswar.
Placements: Placements are good for the students who are passing in 2024. Some of the top companies visit the college. The highest package is 63 lpa and the lowest is 3lpa. 9.5 LPA is the average package. Top recruiters are Amazon, Microsoft and TCS. Nearly 55 percent of students got internship in 3rd and 4th years. 85 percent students got placed in different companies.
Infrastructure: Our college is well-equipped with every kind of facility that a student may need in their academic. Vibrant infrastructure with full greenery everywhere. Wi-Fi is available everywhere around the campus. There is a central library which gives mall like feeling. Every year, students can study there. Hostel's food quality is good. Medical facility is provided to the students. Every sports and game is available here.
Faculty: All the professors are PhD qualified. They are helpful in our time of need. You may find some professors to be rude. But their teaching quality is good. Course is curriculum relevant. Semesters exams are not so hard. They can be cracked easily just by referring to the material provided by the teachers. Nearly 95 percent students pass in semester exams. A good environment can be seen here.
Other: I have taken admission is school of computer Science and engineering. I chose this course because from a small age, I had interest in technology. Best thing about the course is that here teaching staff is helpful and you can work with teachers in making projects. There are 4 to 5 events in a month. Fests are held in the month of February. Scholarship is provided to top 1000 rankers in KIITEE exam. Different types of clubs and societies are there. You can join any of them.

College has great placements and modern facilities, but curriculum needs an update.
Placements: I am in the 2024 B. Tech Computer Science batch, and I heard that most of our seniors got good placements, with around 85% of students placed. I hope that I can also get a good placement after 4 years.
Infrastructure: Campus infrastructure for the Computer Science Engineering department is excellent. Labs are well-equipped with the latest hardware and software, and the library has a rich collection of books and journals. Wi-Fi is available across the campus, including the hostel. Classrooms are also well-designed with centralised air conditioners, good lighting systems, and fans. There are also good medical facilities on campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. Most professors are PhD holders and encourage project-based learning. But, the curriculum could be updated to include more industry-relevant skills like AI/ML and cloud computing. Semester exams are moderately challenging, but the pass percentage is around 90%, indicating accessible grading policies.
Other: I chose the B. Tech Computer Science Engineering course because of my passion for programming and my strong placement record. The best thing is the placement. However, the course could improve by incorporating more advanced topics and subjects.

An average college, which I regret joining.
Placements: Placements are average at this college. My brother graduated from here, worked very hard, and still only got a 5 LPA package despite having a 10 CGPA. They claim the average is 14 LPA and the highest is 1.3 CPA, but that isn’t true.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good, laundry service is available, and Wi-Fi works well. However, the college's in-time is very early, and even seniors aren’t allowed any flexibility. Wardens impose fines even for minor issues, which isn’t satisfactory for a hostel. The food in the mess is average.
Faculty: Faculty are said to be among the top 2% globally, and teachers are qualified but very old, so the quality of education suffers. The college ranks NIRF 15 mainly due to K-Innovation, campus, and the area of the university, but placements are lacking.

I am satisfied overall. It has good placement, really good infrastructure, and excellent facilities.
Placements: Around 80% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 65 LPA and the average salary package offered is 8.5 LPA. All good companies came for recruitment. Most students get internships either from college or outside the campus. The roles offered in this course are good.
Infrastructure: College campus is huge and very green. Wi-Fi is 4 out of 5, labs are 4 out of 5, classrooms are 4 out of 5, library is 5 out of 5, hostel quality is good, and there is good security. Mess is 4 out of 5, canteen is 5 out of 5, medical facilities are 5 out of 5, and sports and games are 5 out of 5. Overall, it is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is very good. Course curriculum is relevant and prepares students to be industry-ready. Semester exams are of a difficult level, and passing marks are 42 out of 100.
Other: I chose this course based on the recommendation of my elder brother, as he is placed in good company. The best thing about this course is that it is useful in the future. There is nothing that needs improvement because it is already good enough. The first crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, and activities are very good.

Our college is worth the money paid because of sports and facilities.
Placements: If students work hard and have the right skills, they get an opportunity to sit in an interview with top MNCs. Our college offers a great deal. Foreign companies also visit the college if students have the right command of foreign languages. Many students get jobs with a salary package of 8 LPA. If students are determined to work hard, then I would recommend joining this college.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of the college are quite good. The central library is one of the best libraries I have visited. For 1st year hostel students, the library time is till 5.30 PM. Classrooms are good. Our college provides Wi-Fi. The infrastructure and facilities of the hostel are good. The hostel gate closed at 6.30 PM, which is very bad.
Faculty: Faculty members are quite helpful. They are quite qualified, but sometimes knowledgeable teachers are not good. The course curriculum is not very relevant in the 1st year, but it is good after the 1st year. Exams are quite easy. The pass percentage is around 95-98%.
Other: I chose this course because I am getting CSE core also. Sports facilities are very good here.

Average college with average placements and faculty.
Placements: Everyone is excited about placements, but this college is not all about placements. People are very dissatisfied, and 1100 people weren't even placed; they showed their average and the highest package to be 14 LPA and 88 LPA, respectively. But it isn't as per their words; their lowest package is like 6 to 7 LPA only.
Infrastructure: Campus is the only thing that places it at a NIRF Ranking of 15 except this; they have nothing just by telling out all about K innovation, but rather than these, its nothing, not to mention the drainage system installed on the campus is not as per the requirements; there is no service for any student to transport them.
Faculty: Faculty are average, not a very good level, and language feels like a barrier here, and teaching quality is not so good, if I am honest, but okay, understandable. It does not make a person industry-ready, and the pass percentage is 67%.
