The KIIT Merit Scholarship shall provide a monthly stipend ranging between INR 5,000 to INR 10,000 that the first position holder in each semester examination for various schools in the deemed university receives. These merit scholarships are six-month stipends.Besides, KSOL offers the Pradyumna Bal Memorial Scholarship, which provides absolutely free education to poor and meritorious students every year. This scholarship covers the college fees, hostel fees which also cover mess charges, books, and any other ancillary expenses.

Admission is purely on a KIITEE—an entrance test held exclusively by KIIT for the purpose of getting admitted to the LLM programme. Applicants seeking admission to the LLM programme should have a recognised law degree, such as BA LLB, BBA LLB, BSc LLB, or LLB. Candidates after qualifying in the KIITEE will be subjected to a counselling process followed by seat allocation as per their exam score. Therefore, admissions are entrance-based.

The seats at the KIIT School of Law, popularly known as KSOL, are allocated after counselling based on a combination of merit and candidate preference. Merit-based allotment of seats will thus ensure the right candidates are selected to complete their preferred course at KSOL. In this regard, it follows these procedures:1. Candidates indicate the course preferences in order of choice during the counselling session.2. Distribution will be based on rank in KIITEE, availability, and preferred course choice.3. Preference for seat allocation is given to higher-qualified applicants.4. Counselling is closed when all the seats are booked.5. The applicants must pay the fee to confirm their seat.
