As a student I think there is no comparison between tier 1 B Schools and tier 2 B Schools and specifically talking about this college, KIAMS is same as all other tier 2 B Schools and at PG level, what really matters is your level of understand

They conduct centralised placement for all 180 students in Pune where the students from Harihar have to come to Pune. Pune is better in terms of other aspects, I am also planning to take admission there.

I would say its not so good college for finance specialization as placement opportunity are less in finance. You need to work a lot on your quantitative skill to get placed in finance company in this college.

KIAMS has finance as an option for PGDM, but marketing is more prevalent in KIAMS.
Companies generally come for marketing profile though finance companies do come.
But you can go on for better
