A good place for nerds and heroes.
Placements: Hello readers, my name is Gurdeep Singh Sodhi, and I have been admitted to B.Sc. (H) Statistics at Kirori Mal College. I have recently completed my semester exams. Some students have secured placements in companies such as HDFC as data analysts and in various startups as data scientists. Individuals pursuing courses like B.Com., Economics, and Statistics generally have a higher probability of getting placements, but success ultimately depends on your skills. The placement process is straightforward. The college has a placement cell, and you need to fill out a Google form and complete the required formalities. Subsequently, you may have to go through multiple rounds of interviews, depending on the company's HR policies. Societies like Enactus, E-Neur, and TRT offer opportunities for contributing to solutions for various social and economic issues. Overall, Kirori Mal College in DU is an excellent choice for undergraduate courses (B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com.).
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, with room for improvement. The classroom walls could be better, but the hostel facilities are impressive. The mess is excellent, and amenities like Wi-Fi are reliable. The sports facilities are decent, and the college has its own cricket, basketball, volleyball, and football teams that compete with other colleges.
Faculty: The faculty members are quite good, with some being strict but experts in their subjects. Many have Ph.D.s from foreign universities or have completed their studies at IITs, showcasing their competence. Exams at the college can be challenging if you miss or skip lectures, but if you attend regularly, you should be well-prepared, as questions often align with what teachers cover in class.

It has a good campus and provides great exposure.
Placements: It is one of the best colleges under Delhi University in terms of placements. About 95% of students are placed with salary packages of 9 LPA to 10 LPA. It also has a recruitment cell that provides both paid and unpaid internships.
Infrastructure: Teachers are also provided with hostel facilities. Classrooms are usually crowded. The library is good, with air conditioning and a huge collection of books. KMC is very good at sports. KMC also provides a boys' hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified. They graduated from the best universities in India. They also help students make their careers in other fields, such as the government sector and the private sector. They also help students clear their doubts easily. The difficulty level of the exams is above average.

The crowd and exposure through societies is really good.
Placements: Most Statistics students who wish for placements do get them. Majority of the companies come for Consulting roles, a few for analytics/data Science roles as well. Internships are offered year round, but there are no big companies that come to college for internships especially for Stats students.
Infrastructure: The Statistics lab is decent with proper air conditioning facility. The Wi-Fi connectivity is alright. The computer lab is still undergoing upgradation and hence isn't up to the mark currently. The hostel facilities are available only for male students.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified, some are helpful and understanding while some aren't. The course curriculum definitely needs to be updated in certain aspects but it will help to build a strong base. The exams aren't too hard if you attend most classes and refer to previous year notes.

The college and courses are definitely worth it.
Placements: B.Sc. hons., in statistics offer placements to almost all the students. The average package majorly depends upon the skills of the individual. There is no definite package. Deloitte, TCS, etc., are the top recruiting companies here. All the students are provided with internship opportunities here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is amazing. The college building itself gives an amazing vibe. Every department of the college has its own Wi-Fi router, thus making high internet connectivity everywhere on campus. The food and quality of the hostel are also up to the mark.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified here and help us with the overall development of students, making the teaching quality excellent. The course curriculum is directly linked with practical life and makes students well prepared for the future. Semester exams are quite easy if you attend some of the classes.

This college is average in all aspects.
Placements: Around 25% of students get placements. The highest salary package offered is about 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is about 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters for the stats are Future First, DE Saw, and Brain. There is a society named placements cell, which provides various internships opportunities to students.
Infrastructure: The facilities like Wi-Fi, laboratories, and library are available on the campus. Library is in very good condition. Classes have all basic facilities. The food served in the canteen is not satisfying. Laboratories are filled with all modern tools. It has an average auditorium and seminar room.
Faculty: This course is available only in a few colleges of Delhi University and KMC is one of them. Faculty members are average. All students have to do self-study as much as they can. Teachers are helpful, they are ready to assist anytime students need.
