BMS College of Engineering is an autonomous institute located in Bangalore and was affiliated to VTU till 2008. The Department of Architecture of BMS was started in the year 1980. It offers programs in B.Arch, M.Arch and Doctoral programme under VTU, Belgaum. The Post Graduate programme Master of Architecture (M. Arch) in Habitat Design links the undergraduate and research programs. The programme is of two years duration (four semesters). M. Arch (Habitat Design) programme commenced from 2005.
