A college with good environment, moderate teaching, and a moderate social life.

Placements: MBBS course offers good placement opportunities. Even if a job is not available, we can build our careers. Our college provides excellent teaching and skill development, which helps us secure good jobs. College also offers PG courses. As junior doctors, we can earn a good salary.

Absolutely satisfied with college, faculty, infrastructure, facilities, etc.

Placements: The college does not provide placements. It only gives us internship opportunities. They give us internships in their own government hospital in Madikeri of Kodagu district. 100% of students got internships from this course in the government hospital of Madikeri.

Very good college comparatively for people searching for a good government college.

Placements: There's no placement in MBBS after graduation, finishing your internship. You have to write NEET PG to continue with MD or explore many other options available according to people's interests. During your internship, you'll get around 30,000, and during MD, around 50,000, which will increase over time. "Doctor" itself is the top role!

Review of Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences, Kodagu.

Placements: We have just had a batch of passed out graduates, that is the batch of 2016, who have been pursuing their own path. A few of them have been posted to reputed places, whereas a few have opted to go for further studies. We don't have companies recruiting us like in other colleges, as it is a government medical college and things don't work the same way as in other courses. Internships are offered to everyone on a compulsory basis.

Moderately satisfied because of great teaching and good events but infrastructure is not so good.

Placements: The placement drive has not yet been organized by the college. One year internship is compulsory for all the students to do but we have electives every year, which boots students' confidence.

Good infrastructure and educational facilities.

Placements: In the medical profession, there is nothing like traditional placements. After completing the final year of MBBS, students are required to complete a one-year internship in the respective college hospital. This is a paid internship. After that, students can enroll in various postgraduate courses.

It is a comparatively good government college, with academics given the first preference.

Placements: We have about 150 people in each batch, and this year we got our first graduates, who have passed out with flying colors. We have been offered a full scholarship by Canada University for sale. We have an obvious compulsory internship program within the college. We are provided with electives, aetcom, and many other co-curricular activities for boosting our self-confidence.

It's a good college in Madikeri.

Placements: Many students were placed from here. The salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. All students are doing internships. All students got placed in different departments in hospitals. There is no high or low salary package, and all students are offered the same salary package. Companies don't visit the college to recruit students.

It is an amazing place to study and shape your career.

Placements: Almost everyone in our batch got placed and I feel proud about it. The salary packages offered are almost the same. Most of them got placed in government hospitals. Some students applied for foreign hospitals and some of the Indian private hospitals. Internships are provided in our hospital in Kodagu and are good.

It is a very good campus, and very good medical college life can be expected.

Placements: The education quality is good, and it is also a very good place to study MBBS in Coorg in the midst of all the greenery. Students would never find it boring. Students would enjoy being on the campus as it is full of things to do with many interesting people to meet. It is a good place to stay and study.

Located in really good landscape of kodagu. Very supportive faculty members.

Placements: Four years of study. After that one year internship. Faculty members are very supportive. Internship and teaching hospital are some distance from college. After internship we have to do one year mandatory rural service. While internship there will be 24 hrs duty, may be 48 hrs in some situations. Main thing is faculty members and seniors are very supportive here.

It is a good college with cool weather. It is a perfect place to study.

Placements: There is no placement scheme. Students after graduation opt for post-graduation or start practising. The salary offered ranges from 1.4 lac per month. Top recruiting companies do not visit our college for placements. The top role offered to the students is a general secretary. Almost 100% of the students have to do a compulsory internship in the same hospital in order to get the degree.

It is an average college with good faculty.

Placements: All the students of our batch are provided with internships as house surgeons at hospitals, as it is mandatory in the course. There is also a bond of 1-year rural services in Karnataka after the completion of the course. The details regarding the stipend are unclear.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college curriculum and teachers.

Placements: Total strength is 150 students. Only a few got placements. Worst college, they won't specify eligibility for students to write the final exam. There is no ground to play games, and sports aren't encouraged here. Teachers don't support sports, and they won't provide funds for final or inter-zonal competitions.

Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences.

Placements: My class strength is 150, and we all got placed in this college by clearing NEET. There are no management seats in my college as it is a government institute. After four and a half years, all of us have to do a one-year internship at the district hospital, for which we will all receive a monthly salary.

If you like cold climate and want to enjoy nature and studies.

Placements: Around 100 students are admitted each year for MBBS Course. Patient inflow in the district hospital is good. You will get a good amount of practical knowledge. Stipend amount is provided during internship from the government which is about 30k currently which will increase in upcoming years.

An overview of Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences.

Placements: The first batch has got 100 percent internship opportunities in the hospital we study in. The stipend in our course is fixed and it comes directly to the student's account. It being a government institution, is reliable to trust. After completing internships based on further studies, practitioner gets exposed to much greater cases as during the internship, they come across various medical field related cases.
