Of course, to secure admission at Kohima Law College, usually there is a stipulation that the qualifying degree that one has to complete (depending on the course) could be either 10+2 or graduation depending on the course, from a recognised UGC university. This allows the university ensures that the degree is accredited and meets the requirements put in place by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and other regulating authorities on the conduct of legal studies .The candidates seeking admission for the 3-year LL.B programme should be graduates from a university recognised by the UGC with not less than 45% marks in the bachelor's degree (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates). As with the earlier mentioned 5-year integrated under B.A. LL.B program, a set condition that the applicants must have passed 10+2 from any recognised board with the same percentage requirement applies.
