KIIT provides Honours in B.tech Computer science.If you are not able to get aggregate above 75 percent in every semester you will not get degree of honours you will then only get the degree of simple b.tech .So This is all dependent upon you hardwork to get 7.5 sgpa in each semester .

This is a really awesome question. Most of the students who could not get through their JEE Mains are in this confusion. Believe me even I had this question in my mind when I was going through all this, but then I choose to get into a college and the reasons for doing so are:
I was not good at Physics Chemistry and Mathematics. I am a general category student. I did not wanted to waste my one year preparing for something which I knew I was not apt enough for. So its time for you to decide this now, and remember Do not let something Good go in search for something Better, because you never know that the good will prevail till then or vanish.

More than 90% of the students got placed from our course. The highest salary package offered in our course is 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are MNCs.

I don't have much knowledge about CU, KIIT, however VIT and LPU are best colleges for Engineering. The Mechanical engineering branch of B.Tech of LPU is composed of-
1) Curriculum Industry oriented: the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal etc. Specialisation.
2)Industry certifications: MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs etc. Are an integral part of curriculum. Placement: University have industrial tie-up with brands like Unominda, Altair, Dharam Consulting, Collins India, Hettich India, MVM Industries, Ashok Leyland, Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances, Volkswagon, Punjab Renewable Energy Systems, Wabag, Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers, Steelstrips Wheels, TCI, Spectraforce Technologies, Voltas, Cognizant, Capgemini, Code Nation, DXC Technology, Evalueserve, Anglo Eastern Ship Management.
6)Placement package: In year 2021-22 96% of the students are placed with the highest package of 25 LPA and Average package of 5 LPA.

Good day, Su Waddy Both of the universities you named, Tum, have a strong reputation for both excellent academics and job placements. As a result, choosing one over the other is challenging. The NIRF ranking and choosing the option with the higher score may be the most effective course of action. However, since these rankings are based on total performance rather than faculty, this approach is also not ideal. My recommendation is to enrol in the college that is more convenient for you.
