B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2021
Offered by Kshatriya College of Engineering (KCEA)
3.4
2Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
A very good place to study engineering at less fee and a good campus with trees.
Placements: There was no training and placement cell in the college. Almost no placements were brought to college. There were no campus placements in college. But faculty encourages them to go for off-campus drives to companies. None got a job from college in my batch.
Infrastructure: In our college, the classrooms were clean. There were hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The labs were good. Labs had required equipment. There was a library but books were not updated regularly. The books in the library were under previous regulations. There was no free Wi-Fi for college students.
Faculty: Our college follows the JNTUH University curriculum with good faculty members. The teaching faculty members were very friendly and taught very well. Kshatriya is JNTUH affiliated college and not an autonomous college so, it follows university syllabus and schedule. It is a semester-based course for 4 years.
Other: There is NCC in our college. Sports facilities are not good but encouraged by the college people.

I am satisfied because the teachers are good, but I suggest not to join here for placements.
Placements: Only 5% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 to 15,000 per month, and the lowest and average salary is also offered in our course. There are no top recruiting companies for our course. Almost 10% of the students got an internship from our course.
Infrastructure: Labs are good, but Wi-Fi is not available in our classrooms. Quality of food available in the mess and canteen is good. Medical facilities are not available here as our college is far from town. Only once for 2 years, sports are played during fest times. There is no encouragement in games.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are good and clarify doubts without hesitation. Teaching quality is good. Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Our course curriculum is relevant, but it does not make students industry-ready because students are not motivated.
Other: I have chosen this course because civil engineering course is different from other courses. We not only work for the money, but we also take part in the construction field. Practical knowledge should be included. Events, fests, extracurricular activities, etc., are done once per 2 to 3 years.

It is a very good college for local students and who don't have enough money.
Placements: From the 2016-2019 batch of B.Tech in the lateral entry, only 0.1% of the students got placed. However, many companies visited our college and also conducted interviews and selected some students, but when students visit the office, they said there were no vacancies. So, very less students got jobs. The highest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month, while the lowest salary offered was Rs. 10,000 per month and the average salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. The top recruiting company for our course is Infosys. Top roles offered in our course are a designer, site engineer and software employee. Only 2% of the students got internships, and some private companies visited here for internships, but I don't know their names.
Infrastructure: There was no Wi-Fi facility, but the labs are somewhat good, but some instruments don't work. Classrooms are good, and there is a library, but sufficient books are not available for students. The quality of the food served is moderate. There is no canteen in our college, but snacks are available. There are no medical facilities, and sports and games facilities are average.
Faculty: Teachers here are good, qualified and knowledgeable also. The teaching quality is moderate because, in our course, none of the faculty members completed their syllabus. There are 5 units in every subject, but none of the faculty members complete the 5th unit. They complete mostly up to 4th unit, so students have to study the last unit on their own. The course curriculum is somewhat good. The course is as per curriculum and also relevant, but it doesn't make students ready for the industry.
Other: I am very interested in civil engineering, so I have chosen it. Even I am very interested in designing buildings and other structures. In my childhood, I used to play with cards to construct buildings, so at that time only, I decided to become a civil engineer. Every year if our college conducts visits to some industries, companies, tour, historical places, etc., for us, then we can learn our course practically. Events are very less, but the fest organised is excellent, and every year students of different branches organise it. The campus is excellent and has super nature and free from pollution. There are many trees, and they are well maintained. Scholarships depend on the government and not on college management. Extracurricular activities are not conducted in our college, and even if they are conducted but in very less number.

Good placements in 2016 as many students are at different level and earning more than 30k per month.
Placements: Our college provides best placements based on students performance and knowldege with a minimum salary of 20-50k per month at companies like Amazon, etc., and it also offers a job as an assistant lecturer at the minimum salary of 20k-25k based on certain qualification. Most of the passout students are well setteled through placements. Our college deals with bigger companies of foriegn as well as local companies in India.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is provided at each floor for every branch as it is necessary for this generation students. The classrooms are maintained with proper cleanliness. The library is provided with large number of different authors book for every branch as it helps students for the preparation of exams and the books can be borrowed for a short time for free of cost. Each book has more than 20 copies in the library. Annually sports meets are held in college like cricket, football, kabaddi, kho-kho, etc., for both boys and girls. The hostels are provided beside the campus for both boys and girls and new building is under process.
Faculty: Each branch has good faculty with well-qualified and well-knowledgeable on the subject as well as the field. They also help us to improve our field skills by conducting labs inside or outside the campus. To do experiments, machinery is provided with higher accuracy which costs above 50k.
Other: It is located in the place away from disturbances from high traffic areas and provided with a large number of trees with the silent environment where we can take rest or study for exams. There is total greenery beside college and have a small garden for peace.

Our college has really good faculty members, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: There are 120 students in our class among which all students are passed in their 4th year. The highest salary offered is 1.2 lac per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. For campus placements, a lot of companies participate in drives for final year students, and those companies are MNCs like TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: In my college, many infrastructural facilities are available such as highly equipped labs, smart classrooms, library, Wi-Fi, seminar hall, etc. There is also a hostel facility for non-local students. In the hostel, quality food is served in breakfast and afternoon, and meals are provided in the night also.
Faculty: In my college, faculty members are very friendly with students. They are qualified and have a lot of skills to make students pay attention to them. Their teaching methods are easily understandable to students. The knowledge of the teachers is very helpful to students.
Other: I am interested in the structure of the building, and I have enthusiasm for the structures. So, I have chosen this course. The civil course is the main of all the engineering branches. I suggest our college to provide more practical experience for students. Our college conducts many cultural activities for students.
