The Kumar Bhaskar Varma Sanskrit and Ancient Studies University based in Assam is a good institution for studying Sanskrit and ancient studies along with other regional languages such as Assamese. However, it would probably not be as current with modern infrastructures and other benefits found in larger universities, so students studying more contemporary subjects or sophisticated technological equipment may not find this one attractive. The institution would suit best anyone enthusiastic about ancient and cultural studies. Further visits to campus and discussion with the current students or alumni would help better explore the educational environment and opportunities.
