KCT is famous for its Engineering programs offered at both UG and PG level which includes B.E, B.Tech, M.E and M.Tech. Apart from these, the college also offers MBA, MCA and Research programs like Ph.D. or M.S. The admission process for all the courses except Research are conducted by Anna University. For securing admission in B.E and B.Tech, the qualified candidates have to attend TNEA Counselling after their board exam result. While, for PG courses consisting of M.E, M.Tech, MBA and MCA, students have to appear for the TANCET exam followed by TANCET Counselling.The college provides admission to candidates in Ph.D./M.S. course based on various factors like educational qualification, work experience, presentation, project work and performance in personal interview.Apart from academics, KCT Coimbatore gives equal importance to placements. As per the last year reports, around 705 students were placed and 851 offers were made with near about 220 companies visiting the campus.
