The Lady Hardinge Medical College NEET UG cutoff 2024 is determined based on a few key factors:Total number of seats available: The cutoff primarily depends on the total number of seats available in medical colleges across the country for that particular year.Number of candidates appearing for the exam: The larger the number of candidates appearing for NEET, the higher the competition and the higher the cutoff scores.Difficulty level of the question paper: If the question paper is perceived to be difficult in a given year, the cutoff scores tend to be lower to account for the tougher exam. Conversely, an easier paper may result in higher cutoff scores.Normalization process: NEET UG uses a normalization process to ensure fairness across multiple sessions of the exam. This normalization takes into account the difficulty level of each session's question paper.Previous years' cutoff trends: The cutoff generally follows a previous year trend, which helps students to anticipate it well while in preparation and to work accordingly. After analysing all these factors and ensuring a fair and equitable selection process, the final cutoff for each category is determined by the Examination Conducting Body (ECB), which is the National Testing Agency (NTA). The cutoff marks are published after the declaration of results.

{Source: MBBS students & alumni}Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's an analysis:* Infrastructure: The college has a mix bag of old and new infrastructure. While the new buildings are modern and well-equipped, the old buildings require renovation. However, the library is well-stocked, and the hostels are spacious.* Teaching Quality: The faculty is well-qualified and experienced. They use a combination of theoretical and practical approaches to teaching, making it easier for students to understand complex concepts.* Curriculum: The curriculum is comprehensive and includes both theory and practical components. Seminars, workshops, and conferences are organized regularly to update students on recent advancements in medicine.* Internship Opportunities: All students get an opportunity to do an internship in reputed hospitals affiliated with the college. The stipend is decent, and it helps students gain hands-on experience.* Placement: While the college does not have direct placements, students have reported success in securing posts in hospitals and private practices after clearing the NEET PG examination.* Campus Life: The college has a vibrant campus life, with frequent events, concerts, and sports activities. The proximity to Connaught Place and the availability of public transportation make it convenient for students.* Value for Money: Overall, students feel that the college provides good value for money considering the quality of education, infrastructure, and internship opportunities. In conclusion, while Lady Hardinge Medical College may have its limitations, the majority of students and alumni agree that it is a worthwhile investment for those seeking to pursue a career in medicine. With a strong reputation, experienced faculty, and decent internship opportunities, the college provides a solid foundation for students' future careers.Recommendation:For prospective students considering Lady Hardinge Medical College, I would recommend weighing the pros and cons carefully. If you're looking for a college with a strong reputation, good teaching quality, and decent internship opportunities, Lady Hardinge might be a suitable option. However, if you're particular about modern infrastructure and amenities, you may want to explore other options. Ultimately, the decision to invest in Lady Hardinge Medical College depends on individual priorities and preferences.

{Source: MBBS students & alumni}Effectiveness of Placement Cell for MBBS Programs at Lady Hardinge Medical CollegeBased on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what can be gathered about the placement cell for MBBS programs at Lady Hardinge Medical College:* No Direct Placements: As mentioned by several students, the college doesn't offer direct placements for MBBS graduates. Instead, they focus on providing internships and preparing students for competitive exams like NEET PG.* Internship Opportunities: The college provides a one-year internship programme during which students receive a stipend of approximately INR17,000. This internship is usually conducted in affiliated hospitals like Sucheta Kripalani and Associated Hospitals.* NEET PG Exams: After completing their internship, students appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate) or NEET PG exams to secure admission into postgraduate courses.* Campus Recruitment Not Available: Unfortunately, there are no recruitment drives or campus interviews organized by the college or industry partners for MBBS graduates. In summary, while the college may not have a dedicated placement cell, it focuses on providing internships, preparing students for competitive exams, and helping them transition into higher studies or professional careers through its strong reputation and network of affiliations.
